Guest chapter 19 . 12/17/2017 This is great. The best I have ever read, and believe me I have read a lot... and yeah, I am a doctor. I almost couldn' t find a medical error. Please believe me when I say this story makes us think deeply that how wonderful and fragile the life is . |
abrant554 chapter 19 . 8/24/2017 Really very well done. Thank you for this amazing story. |
abrant554 chapter 15 . 8/24/2017 This chapter, though vey well written, has conjured up images of that gorgeous DiNozzo chest terribly mutilated. |
abrant554 chapter 11 . 8/23/2017 DAMN...how am I suppose to read when I can't see the words for tears. The best. |
kaycross1184 chapter 19 . 8/9/2017 Very emotional story. I enjoyed it. Although I pray Tony never has to have a heart transplant ever again in any story I read. Not sure MY heart could take it. |
Guest chapter 16 . 7/16/2017 The medical accuracy in this fic is astounding. Seriously, bravo. If any of your other stories are as well researched as this, you have a new fan for life. |
water4willows chapter 15 . 7/12/2017 I'm so relieved he's finally doing better! Loopy Tony was an excellent addition. Is it over now? Has the danger passed? I want to be optimistic, but there are a few chapters left to go... This is so good. You should know the Tumblr whump community is talking about this story. Everyone who's read it loves it. You should be so proud. |
water4willows chapter 14 . 7/11/2017 I'm glad I found this story when it was completed because I don't think I would have been able to handle the cliffhangers or waiting For the next chapter. I cried right along with Tony on this one. Brilliant. |
water4willows chapter 13 . 7/11/2017 Fornel showing up with food and drink, the quiet moments between Tony and his family, it was all so achingly beautiful. You've got me praying for a fictional character. That's pretty impressive. |
water4willows chapter 12 . 7/11/2017 Hallelujah! Can it be true? Is there some light at the end of this long, dark (yet beautifully written) tunnel? I'm breathless with anticipation, sitting on my hands to keep from biting my nails. |
water4willows chapter 11 . 7/11/2017 I keep setting my phone down and screaming about how good this fic is. Honestly, the people in my cafe must think I'm nuts. "Deep within his chest, his heart thumped, and the monitors next to his bed gave quantitative values to his newfound fear. He was disappearing." And then the conclusion of the chapter... I was right there with them crying right along with them. Beautiful. Just beautiful. |
water4willows chapter 10 . 7/11/2017 Oh my. This is the kind of fic I scour for every day. The kind of story written with the same passion and care as some of my favorite published novels. My dear, you've out done yourself and taken me apart completely. This is brilliant story telling and quickly becoming one of my favorite NCIS stories of all time. |
water4willows chapter 9 . 7/11/2017 Another lovely chapter. I really do love the team's interactions with Tony. Tony asking Tim for help was especially poignant. I also liked the call back to Tony's football days. I am utterly in love with this fic. Tony's fear and frustration at his illness are quickly becoming my own. Well done :) |
water4willows chapter 8 . 7/11/2017 Well, with 10 more chapters to go, I might have figured this was not going to turn out as well as I had hoped. Poor Tony :(. But can I just say that your medical research is impeccable? It's like you transported me back to the hospital when a memeber of my family was going thru something similar. Well done. |
water4willows chapter 7 . 7/11/2017 "...unconfortable as a Dell salesmen in an Apple Store." Best. Line. Ever. Fantastic chapter. The team rallying around their fallen comrade was so very touching. |
