This specifically? It was brilliant. It was beautiful, succinct, a snapshot apart from what most people have come to expect from L. The four lines where you played out his thoughts against third person narrative were a particular stroke of genius. The imagery is beautiful - the cool fire/mist etc.

And the reference to Wammy's was amazing. That sense of 'not dead yet' is beautiful. Honestly...this is amazing. And so short and sweet. When I have time I'm reading your other stories.

I'm sorry, I reviewed the new Aisawa ficlett first, then to read this... I'm so sorry, but I nearly laughed at this. Not that it was funny in the slightest, just the way it laid out. It started sadly, I knew I wouldn't like what was coming, but the remark about Light being Kira, "All this time, I was right..." The way I read it, at least, was like it was second thought. "I'm about to die, and this would really suck... Oh, All this time, I was right... I'll never get to finish my panda cookies..." (sorry, added my own thoughts on that) We're in opposing moods today I guess... It's brilliant, as I always expect from you. :D

On the other hand, I think this review may now be longer than the fic! O_O
