This story was fairly amusing. I haven't personally come across any of the fan fictions you mentioned in this story, but I don't doubt that they exist. The romance stories sounded quite terrible, especially the one where Gourry kills Xelloss. I'll have to actually look for that one just to see what the story behind it is.

Having this Review Guild take place during dinner was a nice touch. I enjoyed how Lina and Gourry were more concerned with food than they were with how they were being portrayed in some of the stories. Amelia's reactions to her negative characterizations were done quite well. The scene where Lina and Gourry are momentarily to disgusted to eat was rather funny.

Overall, this was pretty good. Nice idea, too. I can't help but think it might have been a little harsh, but I suppose most of the stories in question deserved to be ridiculed. Funny stuff.

*giggles insanely* bwahaha! that's really hilarious! i loved the "that" thing with Xellos _ and the cow monument _ man u are really hilarious. and Ed. *snickers* and the idea at the beginning for them to be reading their own fanfics _ that was genius. i've only seen one other person do that [for Yu Yu Hakusho. i think it's on my favorites list ;;] and i dunno if it's been done more times, but i really liked it on this ficcy. it opened it up really good, and then it turned totally senseless _ i love it! it's going on my fav stories! _ i hope that u write another chap! Anyway, it was funny, it's nice to be able to poke fun at cliches. But I think fanfiction is one big cliche. Hell if you think about it, anime is so original, a lot have many twisted and great plots but for fanfic authors who have watched North American T.V. for countless years have been drawn into the S.D.P (Same Damn Plot) problem that American T.V. does.

After years of burning braincells over watching American shows which use the same theme over and over but with different characters of different shows, it's obvious that American T.V. has sucked away our imagination to do anything 1/2 original.
