Seriously, even when I first read Bakuman everything about Fukuda screams "MELLO" to me...

Me: * Likes the Fukuda/Aoki pairing and thus ardently searches all of fanfic for a good story. Finds one and is about to beg the amazing writer to post another chapter when I notice that "this is not a pairing fic." -_- * Accept my rotting fruit!

I think it's a bit stupid to complain about putting Death Note into this fanfic, since (in my opinion) most of readers have already known this. But whatever.

Fukuda is my favourite character (truth to be told, equally with Eiji, but I don't get all excited when he appears on some page), so I was really happy that there are fanfics with him. And I enjoyed this one, besides your oh-so-long comment in the end. It actually wasn't necessary, really. But if you felt better after adding this, who am I to complain about?

So, more proud and belief in yourself (pot calling the kettle black).

hmm. nice, nice. a little ooc on fukuda's part, but nice still. incorporating bits and pieces of what actually happened in the manga was effective.

I'll think of this as a pairing fic. xD

Anyhow, I think you did a wonderful job keeping the characters from being ooc which is rather hard especially when you are writing about minor characters who don't appear in many panels. The fic progress smoothly too. I hope you'll keep writing.

You were right. Fukuda and his assistant did seem a little OOC, but overall a very good piece of fanfiction. You're a talented writer. I hope to read more Bakuman fanfics of yours in the near future.

I liked this alot. It was funny. Usually I think Aoki is upstuck but you gave her a nicer, sort of shier side.

The Shinta scene reminded me of all the MelloMatt interactions there are. But doesn't Fukuda seem much nicer than Mello? He actually wants to help people.

And Eiji is win. Honestly, he should have his own manga. I'd read it.

Hehe, I really enjoyed this, and thought it was very funny.

My one criticism would be that this is a one-shot, but it reads more like the opening chapter of a long fic, where the characters are being established and work being done to set up a plot. I think it needed more of a point to read like a one shot, if that makes any sense at all.

But I like your writing style a lot, and it's great to find someone as good as you writing for Bakuman :)
