This is EPIC. You've wildly surpassed my low expectations; honestly, I thought this would be terrible. I've seen Dr. Horrible and White Collar, a bit of Castle, and absolutely no HIMYM except for Internet spoilers. Please write more; I was laughing the whole time! I loved this. I haven't seen White Collar, but I have seen the other three shows. I suppose it might make a little bit more sense if I'd seen White Collar for the character's background, but it was still very enjoyable.
