Awesome story. I really like how it progressed and Watson realized that Sherlock had known all along and had covered it up and then come right in the nick of time to get him out of that mess.

Goodness, you're brilliant with words! I think I'm just going to have to add you as a favourite author. You write Sherlock Holmes fics so well, and capture their friendship so wonderfully. I really enjoyed this early beginning to their relations, fantastic idea and well executed!

Well that would be why Watson doesn't control his finances. Never looked at it as so dark a way. Figured he would realize it before it got so bad as to try to run out on a debt. Very well written though.

Anyway, I love the flow of language in this piece. Such a periodic rhythm. Appropriate of the time and pulsing with that alluring mysterious quality that makes Holmes such a good read. Thank you for the good time.
