It was pretty well written.

I think it's funny how Chichi acts like Goku should be psychic, and that he should have instantly known she was in labor. All the while ignoring the fact that the second he knew, he rushed to where she was.

What's also funny is that they were unable to find Goku, though in the entire series, they can trace people by searching for their energy. You could say he was suppressing it, and that would fix that loophole right? Except the fact that he was training, and you can't train without exerting any energy, since just walking expends energy, according to the logic in DbZ (Ginyu Force Saga, when Gohan and Krillin are hiding from some members at the top of a cliff. Krillin explains to Gohan that he shouldn't move, otherwise their devices could detect them).

Finally, I can't rap this up without commenting on how well you captured Chichi's illogical attitude, and how she is ignorant of everything around her.

Great job, best thing I've read in a while.

Well, I'm not sure I understand the relationship between being let down and being a scholar, but that aside, it's a nice little read and actually the first Chichi-focused fic I've ever read. The show protrays her mostly in harpy-mode, so it's nice to see her at her more vunerable side, though she does get plenty of screeching in.

Wow! That was a good story! Different, but a good story! Your perspective was very well written and though I hate those kinds of stories who make Goku train 24/7 and make him sometimes seem like he doesn't care, yours was totally the opposite! I'm extremely pleased!
