twlightbella chapter 1 . 5/29 Aww ute father and son moment |
Rosina Ferguson chapter 1 . 1/22 This tale could be printed and distributed as a "What's it like..." guide for new dads. Perfection. |
HelenGrimaldi chapter 1 . 6/2/2015 Oh, how wonderful! Every parent knows exactly what you tell here, these precious yet exhausting moments in the middle of the night, the little differences between your kids which make each one special and adorable, Ginny's feelings about not liking to be exposed as well as Ron's wish to be included in this magical procedure that is breast feeding... I never read anthing so touching before! Thank you for this lovely one! |
Vento-del-Sud chapter 1 . 12/26/2014 I loved every word of this story. I can only say that such fathers as Harry are rare species. But they do exists, and I know one – and that makes this story especially sweet and personal. |
GinnyPotter6891 chapter 1 . 11/17/2014 Beautifully done. |
chiemey chapter 1 . 7/6/2014 pleased update more |
Quidditch73 chapter 1 . 3/20/2014 It's funny, I always thought that Ron would be a competitive dad, just based on the brief mention of it in the epilogue. This stays in character so nicely, and man, am I glad those days are over with my son, though I miss his baby burbles. |
epifonia chapter 1 . 2/2/2014 this is so sweet! Thank you so much for writing Harry so well as a father! Not many people can do that, I've been looking everywhere for some good Harry as a father stories. Well done! |
Savita chapter 1 . 8/11/2013 that was sooo sweet... its annoying when your parents keep repeatedly talking about things you used to do when you were little, but if they find so much joy in these little things, it's totally understandable.! |
Ginevra-Potter98 chapter 1 . 7/8/2013 This story perfection. Simply adorable! |

wrappedinharry chapter 1 . 6/23/2012 I know you said First Sight is probably your most personal story, but I feel that this may be equally as personal for you. This was so poignant; it really brought back memories of those early days. At least, from Ginny's POV. My husband rarely got up for early morning feeds, even though mine were bottle fed from fairly early on. Al was a little beastie, wasn't he: still having night feeds at 6 months. Mine were pretty active at 6 months and didn't need burping anymore as a rule. But I can reall relate to the early morning wakeup call. LOL. I was very indignant on Ron's behalf that Hermione banishes him when she is feeding. That is...well, it's a little bit nasty, actually. Of course Ron would want to see his daughter feeding. And what's to see, anyway? Hermione is stupid to say she feels exposed. It's not as if feeding Mum's (most anyway) have the other boob hanging out and the one the baby is attached to is almost entirely covered by baby's face. I was also shocked at Ginny's comment when Harry bought Al to her. I absolutely loathe (hate, hate, spew, chuck) the word 'tits'! I even hate writing it. It is so crude, IMO. Both my sister's use it (not that we talk about them often, LOL) and I cringe each time. But of course, many think boobs is crude. To each his own. And I am not a prude, I promise you. Am enjoying this series enormously. Lesley |
