Beautifully written, captures her despair perfectly. I like the autumn leaves part about something so dead being beautiful. I would live to see more of your writing, and the rest of this story. Does she look under the squeaky floorboard.
And Jacob. I dont usually like that part of the saga. But he is the only one who really sees her.

I think you have a lot of talent. sometimes I have trouble visualizing situations in fanfic. I suppose it's because there definitely is levels of talent and skill and everyone is just in it for the fun of it all.

your work however, is richly descriptive and just wonderful to read. I'm saddened to see you don't update often (both this story and hand in glove), though I can't say that I blame you. my foray into writing was short lived as I lacked the dedication/motivation to keep with any sort of update schedule.

His autumn eyes still got me. So hard. The colours, how completely numb she still is but she IS trying, as much as you can when you feel so hollow. I love the chapstick and how she notices all the little things that would be different if he and his family were still around.

And your CHARLIE I adore him. You can see how much he is trying and (dude I keep seeing that moment in the movie when Charlie tells Bella he's giving up, he just can't do it anymore). He really tried to be there for her as much as he could.

Love the moment with Jake too, because we all know he pulls her slowly out of the dark and back to the living. Well, as much as she could be until that black merc turned up in her driveway!
