Wow. I know you're not on here much as of late, but it's beautiful. All of your writing is just incredible, and I do hope that someday you find the time and inner peace to do more.

I found this an incredibly sweet and heartwarming story. You have excelled very well in two fields: dialogue and description. The dialogue fits smoothly and remains in-character throughout - something few authors can accomplish. The descriptions were incredible as well, providing just the right feel for whatever is happening at the moment. I also particularly like some of the funnier lines, like mentioning that Wybie memorized the scientific Latin names for species of bugs.

Aside from a few run-on sentences, this is a capital story. Great job!
