Reviews for Hades Memoirs: The Fall Of Rome
Shakahnna chapter 1 . 7/20/2010
Another wonderful story here, I think probably one of your best. There is something exceptionally unhappy about the loss of life. Both on the wider scale and a personal level. Those two kids just wanting to get away and him with his wife. Such a devistating thing to happen to anyone and the fact he can't accept she's gone. Best for his life to end but still, how terrible.

Thank you for writing a piece that focuses on one of the minor, but important characters in the RE universe. Reading a story from Warren's point of view was quite the experience, and though we don't know much about him, you've crafted him as a very believable character who surely deserves sympathy from the readers. And as for the writing...completely beautiful and descriptive. Thanks again for posting this wonderful piece, it was a pleasure to read!

Hey, great to see another addition to the Hades Memoirs. They are definitely one of my favourite RE compilations. Each and every one is so well written, and the characters are well fleshed out. This installment is no different, and very unique, as I don't think anyone has ever written anything about Mayor Warren.

All in all, he's a bit of a tragic character, not evil, but maybe weak and corrupted. It must have been very traumatizing for such a dedicated public official to watch the city he helped create burn around him. A very appropriate title, too.

So cheers to you, for bringing life to so many "lesser" RE characters, who doubtlessly have incredible stories to tell.
