Like another reviewer, I'm not overly fond of this pairing, but I enjoyed the story, and making Kou's next emperor a hanjuu.

There's only one issue - Youko *knows* that Rakushun can't be the next emperor of Kou, because he has the same family name as Kou's previous emperor (aka the bad guy). It's one of the rules she's taught by Enho/Otsu is that the next king cannot have the same family name as the previous one.

Anyway, still a good story.

Sweet, if a little hackneyed. I appreciate that you just turned it into an anecdote, rather than a dramatic revelation of Rakushun's royalty. The majority was well-written, with only minor awkward phrasing. Great job, keep writing!
