Aw. I absolutely adored the Drum Island arc, as well as that whole scene with Sanji's sacrifice and AJFODNODSGNSKGNDOS ALL OF IT WAS SO GOOD. Great fic, great to see more.

Such a lovely fic.
Even though it was an extremely dramatic moment in the manga/anime, it never fails to make my heart flutter with happiness. Bonds like one between Luffy and Sanji always make me smile.
Your stories bring all those warm feelings, and more. The ending (with a chuckle and a pinky promise) makes it even more heartwarming. These are small things, and yet they show that Sanji and Luffy understand, accept and love each other. It's a beatiful thing to see.
Just one small remark (though I actually liked that, but I think it was OOC): when Sanji is grateful that at least Nami and Luffy were saved, he would get their names in this order, rather than "Luffy and Nami". Also, he would probably add some sort of honorific to Nami's name ("-san" would do).
All in all, it was a great story. I hope to see more from you.

I wonder if this would change anything concerning Kuma (Zoro and Sanji offering their lives, etc). Everyone seemed in-character. I don't remember much of the Drum Island arc, other than the avalanche part (which is one of my favorites)

I'm not sure that Luffy would be so upset that one of his crewmembers sacrificed himself. He'd be viciously upset if they died, but...

Then again, I started watching One Piece over so I could have a complete instead of just a patchy knowledge of One Piece, so this could be in character.

Either way, if Luffy were to do something like that, I think the way you made him do it was spot on.

Oh...Sanji would prolly have kicked him instead of hitting him. XD But maybe he couldn't move his legs. *ponders*

That was a sweet, nakama-ish moment. Great work; I loved it. I also love the part in that chapter when Luffy and Sanji are trying to catch Chopper. So funny!
