Nice one. Really enjoyed it. Especially, because there isn't the happy end, so often seen with this pairing. That, even tough determined, Sesshoumaru didnn't get what he wanted. And how Kagome wasn't the victim (not entirely at least) but an equal strong character.
Just out of interest I went to look for the Sequel. Sure it would have been fun to read.
Finally... there is one question I've alwasy been curious about: How come, Kagomes eyes are blue in so many english fanfictions? (Though I guess it's not only the english ones.) Is there a special reason to it?

OMG, where IS the sequel? I LOVE this. I totally want to see Sesshomaru chase her; there's never enough of those. I want them to meet and for Kagome to play hard to get and be annoyed with how persistent he is to have her. I almost want her to be mean. But please, sequel.

This first chapter is highly intriguing; I can't wait to find out what's going to happen! Also, I really like your choice of words in this chapter - your descriptions contian lots of beautiful details that makes everything feel real.

this is not an ending this is mostly a climactic event... with no resolution...

I really liked this story, I feel like it has the true essence of Inuyasha/Kagome: he always loved her but maybe not enough to fight to keep her, and yet taking as much as she was willing to give.

Please tell me you started the sequel!?

Omigosh. That was so... so... beautifully written. I loved how each scene was so detailed, so rich and full of emotion and such... understanding. This makes the readers UNDERSTAND. How each and everything, no matter how insignificant, was important. I'm happy I found such a great story under the rating T (I don't trust M's unless my friend tells me there's no lemon in it - I don't like lemon, no offence to those who do, since I find that utterly pointless and practically leaves it to only physical stuff).
Anyway, sorry about my rant about that.
Basically, I loved how this played out. I still don't understand one thing though - is this 'modern' AU or 'feudal' AU? Sesshomaru has a mobile, but the surroundings make me imagine the feudal times in the Inu Castle.
And where's Inukimi (Sesshy's mother)?
