This really could have happened in the book. Finnick was the type of character who'd put on a charade even when he was completely not okay, but everyone breaks down at some point; there's only so much one person can take. They were really all each other had in those depressing days in District 13. It makes it even worse knowing he's dies. But this was very well written.

Wow. This is just heartbreakingly brilliant. Both Finnick and Katniss' emotions are portrayed so well, so realistically. And it's kind of true, that perhaps if there was no Annie or Peeta, they'd be together. After all, only Katniss understands Finnick's pain and vice versa. It's just so tragic. But good job :)

oh my- this is the best hunger games fanfic i've ever read. i almost cried. i loved how you had the subconscious instructions of tying rope weaving their way through the narrative. i feel so bad for finnick!:( your prose style is wonderful, i'd like to see some more finnick/katniss:)

I love Finnick, his death just didn't fit into Mockingjay - at least I don't think so. :) Although I don't really 'ship Finnick/Katniss you captured them really well in this oneshot. Perfect.

This was sweet. Though I'm not a fan of Finnick and Katniss. Sweet and heart-warming but a little depressing. This is too great to stay a one-shot.

Hola! I don't know you. Nope, I definitely don't know you. And you don't know me. I would just like to tell you, as a complete stranger, that I really sorta kinda enjoyed this. Only slightly though. It would have been better if Peeta were there though... BECAUSE HE WON!
