I've read this at least four times; how have I not reviewed? Literally my favourite fic in this section.

Very, very fun, and felt true to the characters as presented in the movie. Good flow to the dialogue and some great lines.

I didn't get it at first but then...well I really really got it. It's brilliant and devious and just amazingly awesome.

Actually, I can imagine this COULD have happened. Elizabeth was more of a mischievous sprite than her stuffy,frumpy outward appearance led others to believe. Oh, I think the scene of her playfully pushing the cake into Bertie's face while they were riding in a care ALSO could have happened- but, she knew better than to behave that way in public! If you write another one, I hope you have Elizabeth REALLY call David on his notion that she hated Wallis due to being 'jealous'- as if! Elizabeth KNEW she married the RIGHT brother from the start!

Absolutely adorably done! I love how Bertie and Elizabeth interact, and Elizabeth truly is devious and wonderfully portrayed. A wonderful little piece :)
