A content Brian is really good to read. And Justin as Tinkerbell - how appropiate. ;)
sing-to-the-moon chapter 1 . 3/29/2014
This was done wonderfully.
insanechildfanfic chapter 1 . 9/19/2013
so sweet and brilliant; I love that Justin and Brian step up for Gus and that Brian realizes that what he once treasured is now something empty

chapter 1 . 5/9/2013
Absolutely loved it. it was real and funny the characterizations were spot on ,,, a fitting ending to the saga of Brian and Justin, an ending the boys and the fans deserved...

Icarus of the Sun chapter 1 . 6/7/2012
I'm pretty sure I have never read a story that was more true to character than this one... I seriously can't even handle it... I almost scrolled down half way through just to write a review about exactly what I'm telling you now and I never write reviews and I certainly never would stop half way through a story just to do so. Keep up the fabulous work
CorruptedSmile chapter 1 . 8/21/2011
Wonderfully written.
dovasary13 chapter 1 . 8/1/2011
Thanks for that. I find myself reading as many post 513 ffs as I can because, frankly, the way it ended pissed me off. This one was really well done, definitely one of my favorites, so good job. :)

I can't tell you how many times I have re-read this, so I'm sorry I'm only now getting around to reviewing but-gorgeous. This was actually the first QAF fic I read, and it was before I'd even watched the show (I'd seen graphics of B/J floating around and for some reason thought that investigating fic for them would be the logical next step) and what I got from this story was that I should watch the show-so thank you for that. Now after having done so I came back and it's even better, obviously. I have complicated feelings in regards to 5x13, but the way you handled it is realistically optimistic-they're still talking, for a start, and yet very IC with the alluding to Brian's phone being off for a couple of days and not returning e-mails. I figured that would happen, but I also hope they found some kind of happiness in the years after that period and that's what you've given us.

The characterization is sad in the same way the series felt towards the end, with everyone slowly drawing into their more mellowed-out lives, and I thought the conversation between Emmett and Justin was perfect in displaying that kind of theme, as was the entire situation with Mel and Linds. I'd be a bit nicer to her, but the complaints are well-justified. The way that Brian slowly dealt with the idea of actually raising his child-perfect. And I quite like how B/J still trick and everything, too, even if Brian could've handled not doing so. I love all of their interactions, basically, romantic without being in any way fluffy, verrry in character...just every word is a perfect expansion on how the characters themselves would act. And you have a terrific writing style, too!

I will stop rambling, but just know I totally adored this and please write more for this fandom if you feel like it.
JenniferC77 chapter 1 . 3/27/2011
I can't believe this story only has two reviews. I was floored by it. It took me a long time to read it simply because I kept re-reading it. I'd read a few paragraphs and fall in love with how you portrayed them, then want to read it again and then yet again to let it really soak in. You not only have a distinctive writing style, but you wrote a damn good storyline.

I love the way you evolved the story, how Brian committed to Justin in such a Brian way...signing over half of his life to Justin and then telling him afterwards, the way he knew that Justin would do the same, and the way that they simply flowed together. Brian may still have nervous flashes of how his life has changed and what it means to need someone, but he's no longer standing in his own way. And, you gave Justin a chance to have his independence and feel like his own man, making it that much sweeter when he reconnected with Brian...erasing any doubts the two of them would have about their future.

Lindsey was a big surprise, but I love how Brian and Justin stood up for Gus and did what's right.

This really is an amazing story. Jenn.
Almecestris chapter 1 . 3/14/2011
I love this one-shot! The dialogue, the characterizations and the general wittiness makes it a worthwhile read (and reread, and another reread, and another reread raised to the nth power).

"Which was, of course, so much bullshit, but Justin didn't care to spoil Brian's self-loving session. It was kind of mental jerking off, and, frankly, it cracked him up." Only one word to describe this. Genius.

Thanks for sharing this story and keeping the QAF fanfic fervor burning!
varicose chapter 1 . 3/13/2011
This was absolutely brilliant. You are so great at writing and using such a flavorful vocabulary. I loved, loved, loved the bit on metaphorical prostitution. You kept the essance of thecharacters in tact completely and managed perfect development from where the show left off. It could't have been any better!
