Love it! I love their playful banter and the dance, he dances so well, there's such an old-world style to him. I also liked the warden ribbing him. Very cute. It's funny, I was almost disappointed to see that he doesn't say "ollo" anymore, I actually like that, but I guess maybe Roxanne taught him how to say it "right."

...And then Megamind pulls a flute out of his sleeve and plays jazz tunes, all the while hopping on tables.

Hi, ensignabbey! I just talked to you on LiveJournal. I liked this fic, how the Warden actually seems to have a certain fondness for his former prisoner. I never thought he'd be so bad at flirting, though, LOL!

Oh, in the line "where his head lied" it's "lay", not "lied". I had trouble with that myself in a fic of mine and someone corrected me, so I'm passing onthe favor. For sure, Megs's heart doesn't "lie" about his love for Roxanne!

I love the line about her "domesticating" him. *giggles*

Good job! Subtle, with a very smooth story progression. And you actually involved dialogue between characters other than Megamind and Roxanne which added depth and contrast! It made me so happy! Nice "Anchorman" reference, by the way.

Hah, cute. :) This story happens to be the first Megamind one I've read - I bought the movie on DVD about 2 weeks ago because I had missed it in theatres, and watched it that night. And LOVED it, completely and absolutely. I definitely have a difficult time picking favorites when it comes to movies, books and music, but Megamind instantly hit the top of my list. Within the next 5 or so days of owning the DVD, I literally watched it all the way through 8 times. :/ Talk about obsessed, haha. XD Sooo, anyway. Great story. Good job managing to keep it within its rating despite the innuendo. And...um, I think I caught the lines you were talking about. "I'm kind of a big deal.", apartment smelling of leather, etc., right? From...Anchorman, I think? And the purpose of that was because of Will Ferrell, right? Either way...it was an enjoyable blurb. :) Great work adding the Warden in. I am very interested in exploring his and Megamind's relationship, since they seem to act very similarly to a strict father and his wayward son...

I think Megamind would be a liiiiitle quicker than that with his "pick up lines", but it was very sweet and cute (and just a tad sexy) as is.
