The ending is my favorite thing ever! XD Okay, I love this entire fic and desperately wish it had happened in canon, but the ending! Of course hugging is part of the deal!

But yeah, I love every little piece of this. Komatsu being his tough, stubborn self, Toriko being all protective, and Zebra! Zebra is so perfect here, because he gets everything but he just fails at getting the whole story across to Toriko. And he still keeps his promise!

This reads so much like it should be canon, right down to the hugging! Yeah, I have to agree it may well be impossible to write gen for this series that isn't still full of FEELS, but this is just gorgeous. (I can't believe I didn't comment on this years ago, what's wrong with me? D:)

Dude, "Toriko" is another term for basically writing out a four person harem for Komatsu. *snickers* ;D Thanks for writing this! There needs to be SO much more, seriously.

this is so exciting. i've re-read all the toriko fanfics i could find several times because the quality of the fics are all so gooood. that includes your fics of course.

i really like the part where zebra said "it isn't blackmail if he readily agrees." such subjective morality, lol. he -was- blackmailing komatsu with his "ima gonna leave you guys alone if you don't do what i want". also the part where zebra said "i wouldn't want an easy partner anyway" hoooo, subtext.

this is something gratifying after the mangaka shattered our dreams of a dual partnership (coz frankly zebra is one fascinating guy) so thank you very much for your fantastic work!

Reading this again. I can't get enough of it! You do a great job with action scenes and have a really good understanding of how their powers work. It makes the "fight" that Toriko and Zebra had very fun to read!

This was so, SO amazing! I've already read it three times over, I have to confess-but it's just absolutely beautiful. You set up the scenario so perfectly, with the blank space, and the fighting, the overheard conversation and then the fight itself. You take on a question I wondered about myself, and you do it AMAZINGLY well, with the betrayal and confusion of Toriko, and Zebra understanding even if it kind of confuses him a little, in a way (although I might be reading into that-I just see him, in my own head, as needing a while to figure Komatsu out, considering who they are), and Komatsu just trying to do what he thinks is right-and he's got such a big heart!

Everyone felt so perfectly in-character, like I could see and hear them doing the things they do, I was truly impressed! Komatsu's determination, and especially Toriko and his blunt, direct personality, which I have extra respect for since I know I have a hard time writing him! And you really capture the interactions between all three of them, it all feels so real and so raw. I love the scene with Toriko and Zebra arguing especially: Zebra knowing that Komatsu wasn't intimidated, Toriko worried for him, the possessiveness, all so gorgeously done!

And then the end! Oh, it was amazing! The way you linger on how touchy-huggy Komatsu is was perfect. Again, perfectly in keeping with the manga, I could see it in my head, but then lingering over those extra details, and Komatsu's response, and Zebra talking about how he wasn't "easy" (hilarious!), and the sexual undertones to the whole thing-it was amazing. And I love the conclusion to everything, of course! I'm so glad you wrote this, because I've had my own OT3-visions dancing in my head, and I can dream (the manga has been so very good to us so far, after all!) even though I know it probably won't pan out. XD

Anyway, I'm rambling again, but this was absolutely incredible, and thank you so much for writing it and sharing it!

This is exactly what I want to happen in the manga! Why can't this be the ending of the mellow cola arc? It's perfect! And sooo cute! Komatsu was so cool moving past his injuries to make sure Toriko and Zebra didn't kill each other. I loved how Zebra kept true to his promise and didn't try to hurt Toriko. This OT3 rocks! Though I admit I'm missing Coco and Sunny I love those guys X3 Which is why the part about making those two jealous made me laugh. Man would I love to see their faces if this did happe loved the ending how hugging is a part of the package. Go Komatsu! Keep on hugging Zebra! It's not like he'll actually hurt you haha

When I saw you had an idea for a chaptered Toriko/Komatsu/Coco I got really excited. I'm a huge Coco/Komatsu fan so I'm also really looking forward to that other fic you plan on writing with them - Keep up the good work!

Like while in the bath Komatsu is all over Toriko but because he's always all over him, he doesn't realize that he's being a totally tease? Or the other guys are doing intendous and it's going over his head like a rocket powered abotros?
