Another story well done, Moiranna. I like that you think of simple questions and that you proceed to answer them with stories. Your characterization was wonderful, and it was even a treat that the narrative followed that characterization. There were some errors in the story, but it didn't generally disrupt the flow of the tale. Thank you again for another small DMC gem.

I read this first over on the LJ community and thought it was really great. I still think it's really great; it's very introspective and not something that I think a lot of fandom considers. Sure, some authors have addressed the idea of Sparda holding back, but most haven't touched on Dante or Vergil needing to learn that control too. It's made more impactful I think because they're small children here, and it really would be awful to have to deal with that kind of strength as a child, as you showed through Dante's thoughts. Very good work.

Wow, what a disturbing little story. I loved it! It's a fascinating 'what if' concept, and really gave insight into how Dante would feel if this were the case. How horrible it must be to kill accidentally, and to endanger loved ones merely by one's presence. Very thought-provoking; thank you for sharing! :D
