Oh this was so good! I love me some whump and I also love Gordon being the one to dig into the boys. I'm rewatchig S2 and like I always forget about Gordon, but he was so bloodthirsty and I love to hate him.

Anyhoo, this was a great read and I liked the little crack of humor at the end! Good job!

What an awful scenario! It would be just like Gordon to do something so horrific to get his revenge and to "teach them a lesson." I thought the vampire was creepy in its mindless, wordless hunger. On the show, vampires seem more human; this one was like an animal. I wonder if it was newly turned, captured and then starved, resulting in its attack-dog focus. I liked how the brothers, even as helpless as they were, tried to protect each other: Dean by insulting Gordon to get his attention away from Sam and of course Sam attempting to fight off the vampire. After all that effort Gordon put into getting a gang together, capturing a vampire, capturing Sam and Dean, and then lecturing Dean about monsters, I was very amused that Dean remembered Gordon "going on about . . . something or another." Gordon, while twisted and cruel, was certainly earnest about his point, so I thought it funny that Dean is just dismissing it (admittedly, he was just coming back to consciousness, but I still liked Gordon's intensity being so easily dismissed.)

It's bad when a painful sunburn can really lighten the mood. But it did. Poor Dean.

Hey, no one had reviewed this story yet, so I just wanted to let you know, I really like it. I think you got the characters very in-character, which is very important to me. One question I was asking myself, though- why did Gordon let them go? His main goal is to kill Sam, right? Anyways, I realy liked the story, good work! Are you planning on continuing it with a sequel, or is it jsut a one-shot? It'd be good either way.

I really enjoyed this story I've never really liked Gordon (some people did) but he's a good human threat to the boys Always usefull and stories XD
