This story was absolutely lovely (and a bit steamy as well!) The characters were perfect, and I could totally envision the entire thing. And while it did get quite steamy, I thought it was definitely more in character for them to merely sleep together and not "sleep together", especially after what Jess had just been through! Great job!

Um what about Rex? He was with the others, wouldn't Abby first make sure he was ok, return him to the menagerie and THEN help the others?

And what about the other creatures in the menagerie? The Columbian Mammoth, Sid, Nancy, the Dracorex, the Scutosaurs and all the others?

Abby has frequently put the safety of the creatures before her own safety if the safety if the others. Shes gone to great lengths to protect and ensure all creatures are returned safely and alive.

She protected and looked after the Columbian Mammoth, feeding it and protecting it from Lesters jokes.

She was willing to sacrifice her own life to save the wounded and weak Dracorex from the knight.

She was absolutely shocked and furious when she learned Phillip planned to wipe out the menagerie, she even stayed behind on a mission, and risked her own job to save them. And she was absolutely delighted and thanked.Letter profusely when he. saved them.

She and Connor protected, raised and cared for Sid and Nancy, keeping them date and looking after them.

She once again risked her own life upon learning Rex has escaped from her lab and was flying loose in the ARC, unprotected unlike the other animals and would be killed. She refused to give up on him and hung on, calling till the end when he came and they ran to the Panic Room and endured the Gamma ray with the others.

Shes looked after all if them, Rex in particular. Think about that next time.
