I love your play on the Kodoma, they're so cute! I'm guessing you got some inspiration from the versions of them in Princess Mononoke? Anyway, much love for the "trip to mars" sort of theme. Good job!

I'm so happy someone wrote a fic based on that artwork! I love the idea of them greeting the adorable aliens while Kurogane is cautious and being a party pooper.

I love how they were able to grow a fruit tree that ridiculously fast. Everything from their interactions to the convenient base for human travelers were awesome.

AWW, I LOVE what you made of this! The image of the aliens being forest spirits - very much like in Kurogane's homeworld - is such an appealing one! :D (Did I ever tell you that the kodama were exactly what I was thinking of when drawing the little aliens? But I NEVER thought of really tying them to trees, while painting them pink. XD *wibbles happily*) And I really, really like the conclusion of them having brought a new form of life to the planet - trees - that the little ones seem to have almost been WAITING for. It's good to see that, even now, their travels are still needed, and almost planned for, as though hitsuzen very consciously chose to sent them to certain places!

I love how curteous Syaoran is with the computer. And Kurogane secretly respecting Mokona's world-hopping and thinking of the group as his "family." And Fai with his candy. (*drew that herself but still loves it* XD) And the descriptions of the violet haze and the sunlight and the aliens. But also other things, such as the observation, "And every new country they came to, in whatever language, boiled down to the same answer: we are the people, this is the world." You writing, as usual, just hits me as extremely fitting and /true./ I LOVE your narration!
