Whaa! I've seen the doujinshi but I found this one coincidentally! And I really wanted to read more of that and loved the movie too(of course) and I think you've made wonders with this one! I loved it! *still smiling goofily* Thank you for writing this!

I really enjoyed this; their personalities and the expression of their intrinsic philosophies in comparison to their roles as shinobi felt very much in-character and natural. The description of their mission, actions and other characters was subtle and interesting.

A couple things threw me off a bit, like some punctuation stuff, particularly how speech is dealt with (commas vs full-stops), but those were minor compared to one line, where Iruka felt something enter his ear canal. I had to stop and wonder how far Kakashi's tongue was probing, and it didn't seem physically probable, but I didn't look it up to be sure. It jarred an enjoyable reading experience, though.

I really liked the way you used one of my fave movies and doujinshi (I do hope I spelled that right); I'm not sure if the doujinshi was connected in any way to that movie, but I doubt it. This fic laced them together really seamlessly, and I really like that. The ending was so lovely.

Kyaaaaa! So I love this, this fanfiction about what is essentially illustrated fanfiction, haha. The prose is poetic, somehow, and I love how you turned the naming thing into a plot point.

Ahhhh, "To His Coy Mistress", one of my favorites! About "vegetable love", I found this online: "'A vegetable comes from the vegetative part of a plant, as opposed to a fruit, which comes from the reproductive part.' Anyway, I think you did a superb job, and Kawana-sensei would be flattered, I'm sure. .

I really liked that doujin, so I'm happy to see someone fill that prompt. This was a good start: I like how you portray the two of them. Can't wait to read more!
