strawberryy2345 chapter 3 . 6/5/2016 Another great story! Although Saffron is still coming back? Or no? She was on heights somewhere though? I cannot believe that Mal and Inara never hooked up in firefly or serenity - it's the biggest loose end for me that I will never get over. So glad I can turn to the internet to find some closure. Cant wait to continue in the stories! |
GotchaYouLilDirtbag chapter 3 . 11/18/2015 So shiny! Loving this series. It feels like an extension of the series! Kudos. |
Firefly-gal chapter 3 . 5/16/2015 Great story... I would prefer shorter chapters with more updates |
Mendip123 chapter 3 . 4/9/2014 Really enjoyed this one. No strong feelings about frequency or length (ooh-er. Sorry) just love the writing, so I suppose I'd be happy to wait. Not that I've had to, as I'm just romping happily through your back catalogue. :-) |
EagleJarl chapter 1 . 10/22/2013 Yay, Saffron! I never actually found her that pretty so I didn't get that part of it, but she makes such a great evil mastermind. (Btw, minor copy editing nit: discrete separate, discreet subtle. You want the latter. ) |
The-KLF chapter 3 . 9/27/2013 I liked your version of Mal and Inara finally getting together better than mine! :D glad I read it after I wrote it, might've been put off the pursuit entirely. Also, going to check out that fic you recommended at the beginning of the chapter. |
B.Anon chapter 3 . 9/17/2013 Nice! Enjoyed this story. |
B.Anon chapter 1 . 9/16/2013 Nice first chapter. Saffron is such a great character. |
EagleJarl chapter 3 . 9/15/2013 YAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY! Malnara! Woo-hoo, FINALLY! :) |
EagleJarl chapter 2 . 9/15/2013 I'm liking this. Saffron plotting dark things, an entirely believable Blue Sun plot, and a desperate businessman with critically important cargo that must not be found by the stormtroo-er, the purplebellies. ( ;) ) Yep, lots of potential. I also like the way you're handling Simon and River - plenty of heat, no carnality. Leaving it to the imagination is always more effective. I look forward to the rest of it. |
Rhamy chapter 3 . 7/6/2013 Another episode down, great job! Perhaps, as a writing critique, you could work on having the characters tell the story more than you tell it... not sure how else to put that, I'm not a writer! The charactarisation is still great, a bit gloomy, but great! Thanks for your hard work. |
silver diva chapter 3 . 4/12/2013 I surely do hate posting on my tablet. Wondering where you are voinv with "Mrs. Mal" on the loose. |
USAFChief chapter 3 . 3/21/2013 Hmmmm...don't understand why you would stop the story in the middle with Saffron still out there looking to do damage. But it's your story to do with as you wish. On another note - I'd rather that Inara just fade away and let Zoe and Mal begin to understand their true relationship - but that's not where this is going, is it? If you haven't ever read it, try guildsister's Blue Sun Job trilogy. Two short story and one very long one. Everyone seems to still be in character (except maybe Mal and Inara letting their emotions carry them away.) Voices are good, and I'm sure that Jayne really does miss the Shepard. As for the Chinese - my preference is that you do completely away with the Chinese characters...they don't do anything except confuse the issue. Then put the translation immediately following the Chinese words. It's troublesome to go to the bottom of the page to get a translation then back up to the place in the story where you were. And I'm certainly not going to learn Chinese. Long chapters or short make no never mind to me and I'll give you more input after the next installment. |
Lady Greenwood chapter 3 . 3/11/2013 Very good :) |
lizziemerk chapter 3 . 2/20/2013 I prefer shortish chapters as they make me feel like a speed reader, although I'm a little late to be influincing your decision, I thought I would still share. I loved how Mal's revelation escalated. It felt like he tried to let a little water pass through the dam and then the flood gates burst and it all came out. |
