"Do you know, old one, that I have at times wondered if you are not more evil than I am?" This takes my vote for the best line given to Venger by a fanfiction author.

This story is awesome! It explains so much about the whole cartoon show. I'm pretty convinced that Dungeon Master brought the gang to the Realm in the first place to thwart Venger. Oh, and the part about Venger 'taking the young Thief', I got shivers just reading that line.

I liked Venger's criticism of Dungeon Master's strategy, using six children pulled from another world as his tools, sending them on attempts to get home that always fail, etc. I've sometimes wondered whether the production team saw Dungeon Master's actions as indeed machiavellian, or if the implications escaped them.
