Delusional. The realm would not accept Myrcella as queen. One, she's a woman, and they tend to support only men as rulers. Daenerys would be the exception because of her dragons and aggressiveness. Two, she's a bastard. Three, she's a child of incest. Also, how exactly do Dorne and the Lannisters join forces? They hate each other. If Myrcella married Trystan, they would stay in Dorne. Sansa Stark is not the heir to Winterfell, Rickon is. Moreover, Sandor Clegane is the second son of a knightly house. Sansa Stark is the eldest daughter of a Lord Paramount. There is no way the lords of the North would accept Sandor Clegane as their Lord Paramount.

Lovely, lovely story! Sansa's calmness and yet eagerness to jump to accept Jaime's proposal was endearing... I also loved how it was presented here as a real possibility that Sandor actually might not have cared for her - in Sansa's mind, that is. We always easily assume that of course he wants her - but it makes sense for Sansa to wonder if that is the case, after experiencing his aloofness.

I also love to imagine their times together after their betrothal - tentatively getting to know each other, not driven by huge passions but hope and confidence. The 'forced' marriage is such a convenient support for both of them, reducing the need for them to actively drive towards the marriage, as it ensures that they will end up together in any case!

This story is so good and heart-warming. I’ve reread it many times throughout the last couple of years. I love how simple it is and revolves only around one thing: how Sansa and the Hound came to be betrothed. Jaime’s POV is excellent and the way he could predict Sandor’s decision and even found him boring for it was wonderful. Sansa’s lack of hesitation when she hears Jaime’s proposition and the interpretation the latter has of it made me really happy while reading. I love when people misread their relationship and pity Sansa. And then, them taking tea together was so sweet and absurd at the same time. Sandor being an oddity in Sansa’s pretty room and sitting in one of her dainty chairs is a perfect image of why I love the idea of them as a couple so much. They’re from two completely different universes but that’s certainly one of the factors that make the idea of them as a couple endearing. Anyway: thank you for that! It was so good!

couldnt you say its sansa/sandor story and not waste my time? just by the way, sansas title would go to her husband and there is no universe in which sandor clegane would be accepted as sansas husband. shes stark, descendant of dynasty that ruled the north for thousands of years, once a princess. hes as little noble as one can be to still be a nobleman. his grandfather was originally kennelmaster that got little keep, some lands and was knighted for saving lord lannister with his dogs. his status is so below hers that no one would even think of it. even suggesting this marriage, when sansa wouldnt inherit anything, let alone when itd make him lord paramount of the north, would be as insulting to all northerners as it can only be. if you think theyd be fine with it, youre delusional. that wouldnt calm them, but start completely new rebellion.

I don't know if I should be angry about the North or just happy for SanSan. Well, I opt for happy

i really like this story, so much what i'd wish GRRM will do with them! I loved the thoughts jamie had during the wedding (about sansa's husbands and the sourcery of the ceremony), they were brillant!
although, i have to say that the epilogue felt more like the stepping stone for the next chapter. are you sure you are done with this one? it seemed like it could continue...
either way, great story, amazing wwriting. i hope the rugby world championship gives us another awesome story. XX
