I like our story even though I don't understand lots of it. Miracle Day was a mess from my perspective and I didn't really get what the writers wanted me to understand about it. I liked the Torchwood that dealt aliens and though this seems to be a good story, it also appears to be a continuation of the MD story line.

I think Rex is/was a boor so pick on him all you want. In fact, the less Rex the better from my perspective. I was hoping the young man at the hospital would turn out to be someone from Torchwood's seasons one or two that I liked. When you didn't follow up on that I suspect that was just ore of the plotting.

You write well and the story has been exciting in places. You do action scenes very well. I;m still not sure if I'm interested enough to follow this though. For me Torchwood is Cardiff and the team and all the stuff I loved before CoE. Hating MD is making it hard for me to move on from there, but I may try just for your story, which I have already said, has a charm all its own.

I already love this story and I notice ppl especially those who watched the first 3 seasons of Torchwood dont particularly like TW:MD but I do especially loved Esther and the dynamic of Jack/Esther and wished we got to see more but I of course will enjpy reading the other two chapters and I think it's definitely a good start. And I love your OCs background with Jack also I wonder,about the fob watch
