Reviews for Stepping In
Linnsan chapter 22 . 10/18
Just read this again for the first time in several years. And it just brought back those heart-wrenching, tearjerking and absolutely breathtaking feels that is the core of NCIS storytelling and relations. Or at least it was through seasons 7, 8, 9 and to some extent, season 10. Jeez, I miss it. Thank you for returning it!
Grey Ship chapter 22 . 6/13
Well, I know there won't be any sequel now nor do I expect one- you left this piece of art just on the right point. I'm not sure you are going to read my comment though; it has been quite a long time now.
I just had to write that down. Couldn't do without it.

Every time I read a great story, I feel obligated to say what I thought, if not for the author than at least for future readers. However, what I always avoid is claiming one story to be "the best fanfiction I've ever read!", because, it's quite obvious I will stumble upon some beautiful fanfics and may change my mind.
This time though I'm not even slightly concerned to state- this one is, absoulutely, certainly, in no question truly is the best fanfiction I've ever had the oppourtunity to cross into.
I can't tell if it's the dead-on characters, the long yet not too multiple chapters, the abillity to stay between the lines of the magic of fanfic world and the show's reality, or perhaps it was just the fact that I rushed to finish reading it in four days (thank you for three sleepless nights by the way!).
Anyway, I just wanted to stop by to say you are amazingly talented author and to thank you for not only writing this incredible story and wrap it up so well, but also for making my last four days so tensed and interesting.
Btw, sorry if what I consider as seeply mulled over words look like a scramble of Jibrish. I'm from Israel and sometimes I just absentmindedly write nonsense that somehow for a moment seemed right in my head :)

Thanks a lotlotlot!

This is an old story, but it was a great one. I love Tony, and Tony-centric fics, and this one was amazingly put together.

You know, making Tony some sort of Saint-Superman of All The Virtues also makes him a dead bore.

Of course, all of the characters are way more dull and cardboard in this story than in canon, so maybe it's just characterization is your weak point.

NOOOO DON'T MAKE THIS TIVA BULLSHIT!
abrant554 chapter 2 . 4/5/2017
This was so well written that you put me right there in all the action! Awesome.
NCISFan chapter 8 . 12/27/2016
Went from good to jumping the shark. No way would DiNozzo ever be appointed Director. Sorry, can't read anymore of this.
NCISFan chapter 4 . 12/27/2016
Good story so far but no way do I believe Gibbs gave DiNozzo medical power of attorney. Ducky? Yes. Vance? Maybe. DiNozzo? No way.
jeannette.rothenberger chapter 22 . 10/12/2016
Fantastic story. One of kind.
Ihatechoosinganame chapter 22 . 8/2/2016
Wow just wow, absolutely amazing. A thrilling story from beginning to end and I can even understand why you left it where you did. There are no words to describe how impressive this story is.
Lizabeth S. Tucker chapter 22 . 7/8/2016
I am not a fan of TIVA, so I almost bypassed this story. Thank heavens, I AM a fan of competent Tony, so I decided to give it a chance. I'm so glad that I did. You didn't gloss over what Ziva had done to Tony over the years, had him acknowledging the disaster they could be together, but if she truly had changed, it could be glorious.

I'm off now to see if you did write an epilogue as I want to see Tommyboy taken down. Hard.
Guest chapter 22 . 6/30/2016
Oh my goodness! This is the best NCIS fanfiction I've read! Really great job of writing this. Really, really great! You are a fantastic writer.
