Lovely chapter, full of emotion, but not overly fluffy. Edward's journal-just incredible. The gifts were fabulous, every one of them even Emmett's. Outstanding chapter.

Spotty access to Wi-Fi, but wanted to say that I thought how you wrote Bella's inner monologue during her transition was incredible and so different from all others I've read.

Welp, didn't quite see that coming. I expected Jasper to struggle with his control or something, but honestly I figured Tanya was going to be an issue down the line. She was so hurt and angry after Edward's last rejection. Angela is in an unenviable situation. She could very well be aiding and abetting a deranged kidnapper. I figure she figures that if Bella was dead (and not just undead) Edward wouldn't be packing her clothes and special memorabilia. Too bad they couldn't stage a car accident or something. I hope Edward sends Angela some money at some point to make sure she can still afford her apartment without Bella's half. Glad she has Spencer. Did Alice and Jasper burn Tanya, or is she sprinkled somewhere or did they ship her parts back to Denali? She could've drained Bella dry, or tore her apart. She ultimately turned Bella to give Edward his forever mate. She was blinded by hurt and rage, but her last words to Bella were about her editing affection for Edward. How will the Denali sisters react? Won't the investigation into Bella's and Edward's disappearance lead back to Forks since her father lives there?

A squealing Alice driving the family insane (and out of their home) is pretty funny. The thought of Edward's sister being clairvoyant and focusing that talent on my blossoming love life would be extremely mortifying, and simultaneously comforting. But seeing how Bella some how found a way to forgive, or maybe not quite forgive but try to forget that Edward climbed up to her window and caught her in a most private moment means that Bella has the ability to get past the minutiae. Not lose sight of the forest for the trees. Things that would be too much to overcome for some are not deal breakers for her. She freaks out, but then accepts and moves on. That bodes well for their potential future. I love, love, love the way Edward teases Bella about his age. He responds to her snark about his chivalrous ways in such a clever way.

I wonder if Bella put two and two together when she notices how utterly alone they are on their walk. Silent, not even animals. Though it's nighttime so maybe she doesn't connect this silent walk with her earlier silent walk where she ran into Edward. I wonder how Edward will hold up in the close quarters of her apartment. I guess Spencer finally made his move, but Bella was too much in her own head to notice.

OMG, I said the introduction was awkward. Well this takes the entire cake. They careened from awkward straight to mortifying. How on earth will they handle their second (third?) meeting? I guess the ice is sorta kinda broken.

Awkward much, lol. I don't know how I'd react to that situation. Most likely I'd need a beat or two before I could pick by jaw off the ground. Then I'd have to look at Angela to ask her what in the blue blazes just happened there. Thank goodness for Angela, she's a life saver, literally. I think I like that Edward is meeting Bella for the first time, in college. Pretty great that Charlie took the initiative to connect Angela and Bella up once he found out Angela would be attending the same college. Angela looses major, and I mean beaucoup cool points for standing Bella up at a party. Especially since neither of them are exactly social butterflies. Ugh. But we've established that while she flaked on B, she also just saved her life, so I guess that about evens it out. Almost.
