I gotta tell you, your story had me laughing my ass off the whole time. Just the snarkiness, the idiotic remarks, the everything. Fantastic job on this. Not just the humor portion was great, but the underlying plot was nice too. I can always roll with some Dean hurt.

All in all, great job here.

This was cute. I feel like I actually tried to read this loooong before I watched the show and was therefore unable to truly appreciate the adorableness and self-sacrificingness and brotherly affection that is Dean Winchester.

But now I can. And oh my god, it is so typical of Dean to give Sammy his coat when it's below freezing outside. Although it definitely seems like more of a season 1 or 2 thing than season 4, because by season four I feel like Sam would actually have noticed the second Dean gave him the jacket. It took him a little while, but he certainly managed to hone his reaction time. Plus he got a lot less accepting of Dean's sacrifices the more he learned how much Dean gave up for him.

Those brothers can't catch a break.

I hope Baby's okay. I wonder how long it will take to get the tree out of her.

I hope you keep writing for Supernatural too. I love your Dean, he is so smart, funny and just plain great.

I really liked this, very good characterization of both brothers. I liked the point of view and always enjoy hurt Dean and exasperated Sam when he hides his injuries. Enjoyed the humor, too, made it seem more natural and realistic.l

Throughout the whole story you have the brothers just being brothers, which I loved. Not to mention that your dialogue is spot on and SO FUCKING HILARIOUS. Also, poor Impala! D: (I mean. Um. Poor, poor Dean Winchester, who nearly died from being a hero.)

ANYWAY.

But seriously. Your interactions are spot-on, the situation the brothers found themselves in was the appropriately miserable Winchester-ish kind, the moment where Sam was all, "Dean, Dean, oh my god you moron what were you thinking?" left my heart a-thumping...
