Wonderful story! Actually, wonderful stories! I found them after "Broken Mirror" - another great one but that screams for a looong sequel!
One thing, though, makes me really sad: the fact that Sam and Jack didn't have children. My SJ shipper heart bleeds. Pleeeease ... fix this ... maybe even with lots of drama ... anything! I'm absolutely sure that it will be genius just like all the rest you write. At the moment I'm reading chapter 35 of M&S; and still hopping S&J; have their kids.

I wondered, sometimes, what happened next for young O'Niell. I found myself thinking that it was cruel to have him doing the highschool stuff all over again. How could he ever enjoy it when he's about 50? And cut off from every people he ever know?

Half way through this chapter I had to stop and do some research on generals, in general, as well as the first female generals in the US military and the USAF. Guess you had been there already! Kudos.
