Kahleesii chapter 1 . 4/3/2013 Wow. It was very interesting to see her perspective on this but also very... disturbing, in a way. I loved it. |
To a Skylark chapter 1 . 3/27/2013 Unique and fsscinating fic! |
hester4418 chapter 1 . 12/17/2012 Haunting. A very disturbing look at the Queen's psyche which compellingly explains her fascination with Janeway. *shudder* |
jehc chapter 1 . 11/1/2012 Wow very image rich |

Rascal207 chapter 1 . 9/8/2012 I'm back to perusing your stories. Am in a desperate need for a QS' little happy dose ;-) Another fantastic piece, what a great idea! I actually felt pitty for the BQ, living such a sterile life of perfection, that in fact lacks so much that a mere humanoid has as a constant. Sences, stimulus that allows us to perceive the world around us, little things taken for granted most of the time, and yet they R the perfection. You write so well, it never fails to amaze me how easy you can drew me into your stories. Love getting lost reading them, they often save the day. So, Thank you! Excellent, as per usual! |
viatrix rediens chapter 1 . 8/17/2012 This is such a great idea! The Queen spying on janeways dreams and becoming an addict - brilliant. And you've written it very well, too. I especially like how she's telling herself tomorrow over and over again and how she tries to convince herself that she's merely experiencing Janeway's feelings and is not the tiniest bit influenced by all this. |
KJaneway115 chapter 1 . 8/16/2012 This was fascinating and very cool. I love the internal push and pull of the Queen's psyche, the battle between the part of her that is flesh and blood with the queen who desires only perfection, the power play between her will and Janeway's. As always, your work is beautifully written. |
badmelk chapter 1 . 8/15/2012 whoa that was intense! the queen is f*cked the hell up damn LOL omg great story |
Oparu chapter 1 . 8/15/2012 This is amazing! Absolutely so. I love how it delves into how the Borg perceive 'limited' beings and the way you describe the Queen's intersection with all of Janeway's senses is brilliant, so alien and so fitting. I love the mix of contempt and longing. How the queen hates and loves her addiction and wants to quit but... Really really lovely. Raw and so aching about need and pain. Great work! |
PinkAngel17 chapter 1 . 8/14/2012 Oooow, that was very poignant with a fantastically creepy undertone. And the implant link left behind was such a great and unique idea. I loved it! Such vivid imagery too that flowed perfectly. It was absolutely great! |
Runawaymetaphor chapter 1 . 8/14/2012 "That would be cruel. She is never cruel without reason; she is almost never cruel without reason." The dark genius of your writing never fails me. A perfect, shining web to ensnare us in our own humanity. Love. ;-) |
Alpha Flyer chapter 1 . 8/14/2012 Wonderfully conceived, tightly executed. "... The satisfaction of assimilating all that she requires from Janeway's devious and humanoid mind ... an entirely different universe ... Color, sound, scent. She had no control over the stimuli assaulting her ... a kaleidoscope of auras and bright, beckoning smiles ... and bare skinned humanoid bodies. ... How can she pine at the image of a small round breast aroused to fullness, or a nipple piqued to the shape of an aching, hard pebble by an insistent set of lips and a textured humanoid tongue?" The jealousy, the addiction, and the vicarious pleasures of the voyeur, married to the knowledge of rejection. A truly intriguing, profound exploration of a near-symbiotic relationship. (Bringing in Kashyk as the other object of prohibited, nasty desire was a nice touch.) A deeply satisfying read on the topic of unsatisfied desire. Thank you. |
mabb5 chapter 1 . 8/14/2012 Wow. What a story. Brilliant in its originality and perspective. Beautifully written. Carefully written with a precision of word usage that rivals the best of writers. Very well done. Very well done indeed. More, please. |
