Balefries chapter 1 . 10/9/2016 For the love of God, please please PLEASE be alive and kicking to update the story if you can. |
Rhavis chapter 1 . 5/11/2015 Need more chapters. *cracks whip* Ole'! |
Cemalidor chapter 1 . 6/12/2014 Not that much an NCIS buff but it was pleasant to read. Any chance it might get expanded? |
Withdrawn chapter 1 . 2/11/2013 Color me curious and looking forward to more, though if you'd be willing to answer just one question: what are Robert, Jason, Patrick, and Kurt from? Also I'm assuming Patrick is the same one referenced by Konoka's mom in chapter 25? |
Kell Shock chapter 1 . 1/31/2013 While I love the idea of this, Gibb's team has a lot of catching up to do, since there is so much about magic they need to be taught, especially on the magical forensic side. On the other hand, depending on the quality of magic, Abby could be out a job if magic can be used to identify substances and magic signatures. Such as using a person's magic signature being used to track down their current position. Now, if they're going to mix and match mundane and magical forensic techniques, there might be some interesting chapters ahead. |
Kosuke-Dono chapter 1 . 1/27/2013 I think its better if you just merge them instead of stand-alone as to save time for the readers that are taking their time to read your story. All in all, its a great story, I'll be looking forward to your next update. |
Anonymous chapter 1 . 12/21/2012 Why the hell is NCIS involved in this? They seem completely superfluous and utterly out of place. Also, where is Abby going to be holed up? You KNOW she doesn't like working with others. She keeps having to hurt them. Why take Ducky and not Palmer? Ducky presumably is along to liaise with the NY Medical Examiner's office, but having the lab rats along with the investigators seems like a glory grab. Then again, that's supposed to be the point, isn't it? Still, it seems like there are a lot of toes to potentially step on, and the people sent along aren't the most diplomatic. Characterization-wise, it seems ok, so far. I'm a little reluctant about the four mages. That seems excessive, unnecessary, and like additional details that give no benefit. You'll have to be careful to keep them distinct and to keep them from stealing the show. Having individual specializations goes a long way to helping that, such as having forensics guy write decent reports and interact with Abby, and maybe having the one of the four mages sent out with Gibbs and McGee, or Tony and Ziva. I don't imagine they'd want more than one tag-along at a time. Six seems excessive, and seven would just be a distraction, but you know that last one would tag along... Plot-wise, it has a few holes that need filling in, such as "Why were they sent," and of course "what the hell happened," but that is usually added in later. For now, we need to know how these new people interact with the old people, and what framework is in place for NCIS to slot into, along with what role everyone will be playing (they don't have to be fixed). Really, this is like the scene in an episode of NCIS, before it turns black-and-white and the intro music starts. |
Shadow Crystal Mage chapter 1 . 10/28/2012 I seem a tad too sane… |
