An interesting AU. Personally, I love the idea of Ba Sing Se ... and all the secrets it can hold.

Woah, this is really intriguing. Ba Sing Se IS creepy and I like the AU you've created to expand on that. Very curious to see where you end up going with this!

So, I pretty much love this chapter. The dream is terrifying and intriguing (I'm a total sucker for the twisted dream stuff, haha), and then you just take the story to a whole new level with that Iroh/Long Feng scene. I'm so very intrigued to see how, or even if, you will resolve the sheer tragedy and horror that is this story.

The part with Sokka is also interesting. Looks like Lee and Sokka are going to have a match of it in the next chapter. Can't wait to see how that goes!

(Side note: it looks like some of your line breaks have gone when you uploaded. Some of the symbols don't show up in FFN, so you might want to fix that to make it less confusing. Also, "His uncle fuzzed over him and his eating habits too much already." - should be 'fussed' instead of 'fuzzed'.)

Oh my gosh. So I realised I hadn't read this one, and omg! This is such a frightening future to even consider. Everyone has been brainwashed, and it's just so tragic and gutting, and you just want to bundle them all together into a hug.

The brainwashing is just such a violating, terrifying thing, both fascinating and appalling. I'm very intrigued to see what you're going to do with this story now that you're continuing it.

The White Lotus here seems totally evil. (Technically, this could just diverge from the finale. The "Old Masters" get to the kids just before taking over Ba Sing Se for themselves. Aang defeats Ozai, goes back to Ba Sing Se. Gets brainwashed with everyone else. Azula is the only one who escapes. Creepy.)

In canon, Zuko's weirdly happy mood in Ba Sing Se creeped me out- how much worse is it when that seems to be a side-effect of mind-bending, and his uncle doesn't object?

I kind of want Aang and Zuko to gang up and be best friends in this verse, while they slowly break out of their mindbending. I dunno, I'm an optimist.

That was a very creepy interpretation of The Earth Kingdom's brainwsshing. I feel worst for Aang because he doesn't have the support of his friends anymore. Second is for the benders who don't remember being able to do it like Toph, Katara, and likely even Zuko.

An interesting thing of note is that Aang calls Itoh by his name, and not his alias. It makes me wonder if Aang is under the brainwashing, or if Iroh is free of it too.

This was scary. And good. Very good.

Ba Sing Se is indeed terrifying. This is really really creepy. Particularly the little hints of who they used to be... and the way they dismiss them on their own. Poor Iroh. Poor *everyone*.
