quill.is.mightier chapter 8 . 4/2/2013
So deeply sad about Victor and Sherlock and what could have been... and sad for John, too.

I truly love your stories and am astonished that don't have one billion reviews, honestly. Keep writing!
Sagaria chapter 8 . 2/24/2013
Wow, I’m so impressed. At the beginning of the story I was slightly not sure where it was going (well, I still kind of hoped it would be smut and lots of fluff, I’m ashamed of myself to admit it) and not sure whether I’m enjoying it all as I’m not really fond of case-fics. But this one is just sooo professionally written and in quite a Sherlockian manner (the ending especially, not to spoil it to anyone, but imho it’s so ACD), and it does have some smut after all, and it’s not really just something one scribbles just like that – the author did her (or his) homework and put a lot of effort in making an almost Baskerville-like atmosphere (sorry, if you didn’t intend it to be like this, but the village and the castle give me such an impression – English country is just one of best places for a criminal story) and the story gives an amazing insight into the characters personalities - especially talking about the church (a very intelligent chapter! I think you’ must have done research beforehand) and discussing the characters’ pasts.
I’m slightly worried about the lack of mentioning Sherlock's synestesia too often. I thought it would be something that connects the stories in the Conductivity series. I mean it is mentioned, but I think that such a condition should be given more attention. Well, I hope in the next story it might be explained further. Because (I hope so) there is going to be more, right?
Thank you so much for writing this. A professional job!

Absolutely adored this chapter. Beautiful.
janie17 chapter 8 . 2/23/2013
This was a great ending to the story! I loved the bit about McKellig's family history, that was really interesting. And the talk they have at the end was sweet and perfect. I really loved this story!
Ana Sedai chapter 8 . 2/23/2013
Great story, great ending. You hit all the right emotional notes, and it's true to the characters. One thing, though (but it's not a criticism of your writing.) I feel for Sherlock, I really do, but this emotional constipation he suffers from regarding his feelings for John needs a really good dose of laxative. Seriously.

Also, regarding the farmer/thief/would-be-armed robber, John and Victor are a lot nicer than I would have been. I'm with Sherlock on this one. Knowing where your family came from is all well and good, but there are limits. The idiot deserved at least some legal repurcussions. How could he possibly think that those papers about people who had been dead over a hundred years were worth shooting two living men?
janie17 chapter 7 . 2/23/2013
Man this was a good chapter. I was proud of myself this time, I solved a piece of the puzzle right before Sherlock did! When John said he saw a light I thought to myself "there must be a passage!" Oh goodness I need the next one. I really want to know who it is.
JayElem0 chapter 7 . 2/22/2013
Ahhh! A cliffhanger! I love this story. The romance, the study of Sherlock's mind and synasthesia, the mystery and involvement of Victor. It's just all around a great story and I can't wait for more.
sevenpercent chapter 1 . 2/18/2013
love the start- character and the fun of the man vs taxi in London. Having lived there, seven times out of ten, man will win- even when that doesn't involve Sherlock!
snow-leopard-demon24 chapter 3 . 2/18/2013
Chapter three was from a chapter from your previous story. Might want to look into that.
janie17 chapter 6 . 2/17/2013
Oh no, John! *squeals* I hope they find him soon. And he better be unharmed or Sherlock is gonna open a serious can of whoop-ass on those responsible.

This was a great chapter! The mystery and suspense are still going strong!
