From what I understand what you did with Laura and Naruto, when she is exposed to trigger scent...
If she is subdued by Naruto, she capitulates. Basically she recognizes the "Alpha" between the two of them.
She could possibly, in the future, build a romantic interest in him if they live or work close to each other for extended periods of time.
Just a thought I wanted to share. Good start so far saving the Doctor. Having her could be a good influence for Laura. Needing a mother figure she never had. Now here she has it.
