Now that I have read this fic, I did think about when Claire first met Sherry... she opened the light and there goes Sherry. So it would be sensible if we assumed that Sherry develop her fear because she had been exposed to total darkness for hours. Well, and she was sitting in the middle of a infested police station... .

It's sad if that was how Annette part with Sherry, all rushy and they didn't even get the chance to say goodbye. It's confusing however, why did Annette allow a twelve year old like Sherry to go to the infested Raccoon City herself? Maybe because it was still in the early stage of the infection that zombies hadn't overrun the town yet? :)

Anyways, your theory of RE was once again incredible. I hope you will have more in store for us. :)

I love how you add Jake at the end. It's sweet for him and I'm glad to see that Sherry have Jake to protect her.
