That was amazing! I don't have words to describe how much I loved your story. Remus and Tonks are my favourite characters from HP, and I'm sad they had to die, but you wrote it so beautifully. Definitely one of my favourite stories! :)

I wasn't expecting such a long story when you got your prompt, and I definitely wasn't expecting anything like this, though I did enjoy it even considering how sad it is.

I liked how you wrote them from beginning to end and I think you did really well on the characterization of Remus and Tonks.

This was one of many pairings, whose storylines I wished had turned out differently. I think they were underrated in the Potter universe, so much so that they annoying cut out almost all of their scenes in the last two movies. But I enjoyed reading your story even more for that reason. I love when people explore this pairing and you did a great job with it.

I know its supposed to be happy but I always have major feels for Teddy who loses both his parents so that makes me sad. Your portrayal of their relationship was absolutely amazing and so well in character too and compliments canon perfectly too. Can I just say that 'after being knocked to his senses by a seventeen-year-old' that clause was absolutely brilliantly funny for me. I really enjoyed this, nicely done x

I love how this told the story of Tonks and Remus from both of their perspectives, and I loved the whole theme of unbreakable.
Tonks and Remus were both written brilliantly. Plus their love story, oh god, it was so cute. Tonks, in particular, though, was great. This was my favourite section: [I am sorry that you're alone, it reads. But I'm not sorry that leaving. Tonks is blown away at how stupid her husband is. Yes, he's a werewolf. Yes, she's pregnant with a werewolf's child. That does not give him clearance to run away. He will be back, though, because he has to be.]
The last line is so Tonks. He has to be. You see her desperation and love for him in that one sentence. And Tonks was desperate, of course she was, she wanted him back. She needed him.
I love his proposal, it was so simple, and nothing over the top. It was Remus. Remus was a simple guy, and the thing that made their love story so romantic was that Tonks was okay with his simpleness and she loved it and she loved him and she still loved him even though he was a monster and he left her. And he loved her because she made him happy in dark times.
I love Tonks/Remus, and you wrote them awesomely :) I love the quote at the very beginning, too–great quote, love it :)

*sob* I love Remus/Tonks and you do them so much justice here. This is just incredible. I love the way you grow their relationship through everything and there are so many good lines I could quote back to you but it would be like 2,500 words of quotes because I loved the entire thing. Remus and Tonks were both IC and I loved Molly's small role at the beginning, and Tonk's motivation for going after him and how she thought it was worth it... just /everything/. Oh, and the proposal acceptance including "you git." That's fabulous.

These are two of my favourite characters, and you totally did them justice. I loved how Tonks found it so hard to read him at the start, and how they eventually realised what was happening. Your characterisations of both of them were excellent throughout, and the ending was heart-breaking. So were the sections with Teddy and Andromeda for that matter.

I absolutely love this line. As awesome a character as Remus is, he really could be an idiot. Tonks' reaction was perfect, and their conversation when they reunited completely in character.

I didn't spot any SpaG errors, and the entire thing was written beautifully, well done.

Can we talk for a second about how gorgeously gorgeous your RemusTonks is? They are, of course, a heartbreaking couple on their own, but it takes a skilled author to write them like this. Their entire lives in segments of beautiful fragility, and yet, they are unbreakable. I need tea because this is literally tearing at my insides. My favorite line was "She's leaving, but not really leaving, because although her soul will disappear like a wisp in the wind, her fingerprints will remain on this carpet of life forever." Just the fleeting aspect of life, and yet they are still together. She remains in this world, but she's moving on. With Remus. Forever. Unbreakable.

This is such a lovely portrayal of RemusTonks. Both Remus and Tonks are very in-character; you portrayed them well, and the story in general fits so nicely into canon, while also expanding on things. I really love the last section, especially. It was beautiful and tragic and portrayed RemusTonks's relationship in general very well. Two things - first off, I think Tonks would have dropped Teddy off with Andromeda instead of just leaving him there, and secondly, he's far too young to be talking, even a simple word like 'Mama'. Overall, though, this was a lovely fic - very well-written in terms of both SPaG and just the general idea of it. I really like the way you've divided it into sections, also, showing Remus and Tonks's relationship from the beginning to the end. Great work.

An excellent summary of the complex relationship of Remus and Tonks. I do enjoy how Molly Weasley saw it before Tonks, especially given the book view of Molly trying to push Tonks on one of the Weasley boys. It is part heartwarming, part heart-breaking, and that makes for a wonderful combination.

The way that they develop is heart warming. What I like the most is Tonks stubonality (if thats a word) and individuality. Remus tells her to stay behind but she goes any way because she has to. That scene or sequence of events tell a lot about her character and its refreshing to read.
