Reviews for Strangers
TurtleCopter chapter 1 . 2/22
I’m not sure if you’re still reading reviews on this but if you are, this story is one of my favorites to read! And not just here on FanFiction but over other books, TV shows and movies as well. The emotion and character development was incredible and gets me every time I read it. The storyline was amazing and I love how you incorporated the characters from the game so well. I’m sucker for the Zelda and Link romance and your story gets me every time. Thank you for your hard work and dedication on writing this for us. I hope your endeavors now and in the future go well for you!

PS: Thank you for letting Link punch Torrin in the epilogue
celblau chapter 16 . 2/18
Oh man, I'm going to actively try not to ramble, but it'll probably happen so brace yourself.

I can't take it anymore. I have to review. This is not the first time I've read this, but good Lord, it never loses its charm no matter how many times I read it. And by charm I mean, the DRAMA, the FEELINGS, the SPICE, and my personal favorite, the POLITICAL INTRIGUE! No really, the political stage in this felt palpable, consequential while streamlined and engaging. That, seriously, is not easy to do. It can be one of the most dragging and exhaustive parts of a story that involves government affairs, but like I said, it's just the right touch of character interaction and explanation.

I'm one of those people that enjoys the build-up more than the climax and tends to skip to the falling action when I know the story. But just the longing as well as resolve characterizing both of the characters are so fascinating, it's hard to see it as anything other but the brightest gem in this story. Not to mention, these are some of the most believable characterizations of a happy ending TP Link and Zelda, one with a spark that many really seem to lack or fail to understand the nuances of.

I think my only criticism would be the resolution portion. As genius as Link's machinations and Auru's I-know-exactly-what's-happing moments were, I can't ignore that the final confrontation and confession between Link and Zelda feel a little stiff, if not cliche. Of course, it's a romance plot, there HAS to be a cliche somewhere if not everywhere. I really don't see this as a big issue. It only felt a little abrupt and frankly, I wouldn't know how to end it either if you asked me.

This story will always stand out in my mind as some of the few Legend of Zelda stories that I hold as the standard for all the rest. Great work; I wish you the best in all of your future ones!

tl;dr Yes, I adore your story; take my love dammit.
TwinGamers011701 chapter 16 . 1/16
A wonderful, heartwarming tale of a love that could never be. This story I remember reading quite a few years ago, and still it holds a power over me that I can't quite explain. I can see the hard work, as well as the amount blood, sweat, and tears that went into this tale. Especially the tears. Your story will go on inspiring me, as I work tooth and nail to write mine.

This is nice! Ended it with a smile on my face. Thank you for sharing :)

I've been thinking about how to review, and I've decided I love every bit of it, though I would have loved to see more of link trying to convince a Moody Prince to marry.
What struck me this time around was the ocarina. I'd always been moved by Zelda's understanding and relation to sheik, but this time I noticed Link only thought the ocarina was left by the hero of time. When Zelda left it at the temple the first time, I realized it was probably the last Zelda who had left it there when she separated herself from the hero of time. History was writing itself again, and Link bringing it back to her was his way of saying he was changing the story. I have a lot of feels about that.
Alelachuky chapter 16 . 9/6/2017
Very rarely do I take the time to review a story. But yours has captured my complete attention. It was beautifully written. I have never been as happy as when I finished this story. Thank you for writing this.
Guest chapter 16 . 8/10/2017
So great. I loved Link's solution to the political side of not being able to marry the princess. To often I see "the queen has ultimate authority and do what she wants" trope, so this was very refreshing and very in character. I'm also in love with your version of the characters from Ordon. Also your Zelda may be my favorite Zelda. Excellent world building and plot too :) This is now my favorite post TP fic
Dark Supremacy chapter 16 . 7/8/2017
FANTASTIC!
Really it is!
NinjaSheik chapter 16 . 6/30/2017
SO. FREAKING. BEAUTIFUL! :D :D :D And this is why I considered this to be one of my favorite "Twilight Princess" fics of all time! Link and Zelda overcome the obstacles in their relationship and found a way to be together through everything trying to separate them so they can happy together. Zelda's speech so moving and loving! Truly incredible! I'm happy that Link got his fairy tale ending with Zelda. :)
NinjaSheik chapter 15 . 6/30/2017
This is, of course, my FAVORITE CHAPTER! After all the anguish, secrecy, heartbreak they had to go through, it fills me such joy to see them finally confessing their feelings and reconciling! They're so beautiful and lovable! :D Link and Zelda definitely deserve to find happiness with each other, especially when you consider all the horrors they have to face in every cycle.
NinjaSheik chapter 14 . 6/30/2017
A lot of grammar mistakes, but the chapter so great, so they weren't distracting! I mentioned in one my other reviews that I love Prince Ralis, so it's makes me giddy to see that he's such a Zelink shipper. ;) Lol~. I love his relationship with Link in your story.
NinjaSheik chapter 13 . 6/30/2017
I'm SUPER relieved you didn't make Ilia clingy or overly jealous about Zelda's relationship with Link, but made her kind and compassionate, which is definitely more in-character for her and matches her personality from the game. Too many authors use Ilia in a distasteful way in a lot of TP fics, so I'm glad you didn't do that.

Ah, Link! Going off to be a knight in shining to win Zelda's heart. / So romantic! He's so devoted to her!
NinjaSheik chapter 12 . 6/30/2017
Such a beautiful chapter! It's touching to have a chapter where Zelda and Link see comfort and advice from the adults they consider their parental figures. :) Auru is so sweet, and Uli is such wise and gentle mother figure to Link.
NinjaSheik chapter 11 . 6/30/2017
I'm really glad you decided to include Midna in your story! I loved Midna! She's been one of my favorite characters in the franchise ever since her first appearance, so I'm really happy she returned for "Hyrule Warriors" and now she's being featured in the "Twilight Princess" manga. :D I loved how you took time to make sure Link expressed how deeply he cared for Midna. I'm also a bit of a Link x Midna shipper, so seeing them talk and confide in each other was very heartwarming. :)
