Cute au

So.. initially I was really skeptical because a superpower!AU didn't really sound like my cup of tea. BUT I WAS SO WRONG. THIS WAS SO COOL!

At the beginning there was a little bit of tense switching but aside from that this was beautifully written. love it.

I truly enjoyed all the canon stuff you threw in here, especially Greyback and Lyle because Remus' backstory is so brilliant and the way you twisted it to make it your own is fabulous. Just saying.
But then the not so canon stuff like Remus having a crush on James, and James not trusting Sirius was a great way to switch things up a little.

The superpower aspect of it was just awesome though. It grabbed my attention immediately and I just loved how you gave everyone a power that suited them so well. Greyback being kind of Hulk-like is awesome for one. It makes him extra intimidating and considering he's a werewolf in canon, it just works. James having super strength so that he can match Greyback when he saves Remus was clever.
And then Sirius! OMG Sirius and the illusions and everything is so perfect for his character because he's not so easily figured out. Plus it's kind of hilarious. I can imagine a sequel where Sirius is more comfortable with Remus and can mess with his head all the time just for the hell of it. (you should write one k?) And manipulative!Reg is just a win.

But yea. The Wolfstar at the end was so great. I love how they interact with each other and the way Remus just kind of accepts that he can trust Sirius. I also love how Sirius is impressed by Remus, and how he can't just stay away because he's so curious. The fact that he's always just showing up is really adorable actually, as is Remus' reaction to it. *feels*

And that ending! Sirius is the good guy for Remus and ugh this was awesome. LOVE IT!

Oh my god, Sam, this is amazing. I love RemusSirius, and RemusSirius AU is even more fabulous. I really enjoy the relationship between Remus and Sirius, and the way you develop it - especially because it seems to go against the odds a bit, with Remus being a normal human and Sirius being a bad guy. I really like how you managed to transfer some of their canon characterizations into this fic, as well - even though it's AU and you've definitely changed things around, some things have definitely remained the same. I love Lily being the rational one to James's hothead, and the characterization of Sirius as a rebel/bad boy. I really love that you managed to include the bit about Remus's dad pissing off the bad guys, as well - it parallels back to canon very nicely. Sirius and Remus are so sweet together at the end; I absolutely love the dialogue between them. This was such a fun read - I'm really glad I checked this out!
