![]() Author has written 34 stories for Terminator, Doctor Who, Stargate: SG-1, Robin Hood BBC, Superman, Heroes, Firefly, Supernatural, X-Men: The Movie, Star Trek: 2009, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Avengers. G'day there! Thought it was about time I wrote in here, so here goes. First things first. I am a Christian, so several rules apply to my writings. I will not write slash some characters, like Jack Harkness and Vala Maldoran will be written ouof character for this reason. None of my ratings will go above T. The picture is not mine, I did not edit it, I hold no claim to it. I saw it in LiveJournal and saved it to my computer because it made me smile. But now I dont know who owns it, I'd love to pass the credit over to whoever did if they could inform me, but until then, its not mine. I try my hardest to get my stories canon, nothing overly AU unless it diverts from the series at a particular point for a reason. Romances are also mostly canon. Name: Built on the Horizon. (thats all you shall ever know me as, I'm protective of my identity) Meaning of Pen Name: I saw it on a building in Vancover on a holiday. Gender: Female. Location: Australia (hence the greeting) (It also means I dont get most series until later... grrr...) Age: Mid teensish. Fandom/fave shows/movies: Doctor Who, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, Firefly, (why yes, I am sci fi obsessed, how did you guess?). Newly added, but very obsessed: SUPERNATURAL, Robin Hood, Superman, most soppy romances, Phantom of the Opera, While you were Sleeping... many more I cant think of at the moment. Pairings: 10/Rose, well-written other Doctor/Rose, 10/Martha, Jack/Sam, Daniel/Share and Daniel/various other love interests John/Elizibeth, John/Teyla, Ronon/Teyla, Robin/Marion, Sam/various, Dean/various Will/Djaq, Clark/Lois, Richard/Other Fandom: I'll read anything that sparks my interest but I tend to only write for Doctor who and Stargate. I have a few fanfics that I havent posted yet, but thats just because I'm too lazy to finish them. I just went on a streak of Supernatural obsession that I totally blame my good friend Took for and pumped out a whole heap of one page oneshots. I love Wee!Chester stories and angst is a must. Favourite colour: Blue, no, wait ARGGHH!! Favourite subject at school: English when we're discussing things, not writting essays (It saps my will to write!) History (Great teacher, he lets us make smart comments about why Smithy was taken by aliens, why the royal family are werewolves and our complex explanations about the real Ancient Egyptian Gods. Its great!) and Science (Hilarious teacher, some of his quotes will be below if I get the time) Religion: Christian. I go to an Evangelican church and I love it, my youth group and my christian friends and leaders. Interests: I love dancing, as in ballroom dancing and am learning with my older brother as a partner, he's awesome. I love reading, Matthew Reily is a favourite (Aussie author that does Australia proud), Jane Austen (I'll get around to finishing some of the books eventually), and a heap of randoms that I happen to pick up from everywhere. I love writing too of course, I'm hoping to become a screenplay writer or a T.V. script writer, but hey, who on this site doesnt? I have just finished writing a story for the Young Australian Christian Writers award, called Tainted. It's set 50 years in the future when mass mixed cloning has been outlawed. A secret branch of the European Republic create what they believe to be the perfect child, built from perfect genetics who will never lie, cheat, fear or be predjudice. Fearing American Black Ops, they send him to an underground complex in Coober Pedy, Australia, where behavioural tests are being carried out by a major compay on stolen children. The boy, Michael, as he is named by a cleaner there, eventually realises that not everything is as it seems. Please contact me if you wish to read it, I'm very keen for some feedback on it! |
