I do still get reviews and get added to lists and the like, and while I am extremely flattered by that I will not be continuing any of my WIPs or writing anything new. This account and my stories will stay up, since people do happen across and enjoy them from time to time. To those people, however few: I am so very sorry that I've left some stories unfinished. I know how annoying and disappointing that can be to a reader. However, I am no longer inspired by my own writing and completing them would be a long, arduous, and ultimately dissatisfying task. I'm sorry.
My profile will be preserved as it was, since it is an accurate and amusing snapshot of myself at the time I created this account.
Hey... I've been reviewing as anony-mouse for a long time, mostly in the Maximum Ride section and I decided to get an account for real. I thought the name was quite clever when I started, but I've realized that it's... not.
I would also like to say, to all of the people who read stories and don't review them... You will get leprosy and die. So review, please, it means a lot to the poor, insignificant person writing.

apples, cats, good music, good writing, cider donuts (I'm eating one right now), swimming, reviews, anything and everything chocolate, most shades of blue, free things, singing really loudly and overpowering the recording, getting more than five emails at one time, getting any emails at all, snow, pretty book covers, typing things really fast, striped shirts, fortune cookies, colored string, sharpening pencils, crocs, orange vitamin water, earrings, purple, shiny rocks, people who like the same kind of music as me, snow blowers, making lists, green, my ipod, other people's ipods, broccoli, red pens, roller coasters, pools, sparkling clementine juice, reading directions, the smell of chlorine, spinning chairs, shiny things, spinning things, cell phones, cookies, colored pens, my cat, cats in general, hats.
Dislikes:
bad music, people who listen to bad music, bad writing, sharp things, when my computer runs really slowly, homework, itchy sweaters, long bus rides, airplanes, running into doors, when I press send and recieve and nothing happens, tripping over air, when you turn the car on and the radio volume is really loud, being wrong, running, pink, shoveling snow, people who think "obnoxious" is a big word (three syllables, come on), cleaning, people who sing really loudly and overpower the recording, when people read stories and don't review them, pink vitamin water, hypocrites, analyzing children's books (Tao of Pooh), sneakers, my hair, people who complain about how stupid they are, shoveling snow, clichés, leaches, motorcycles, and golf.
Music:
I love music, and I listen to it all of the time. My iPod pretty much lives in my pocket, except for when I'm sleeping, in which case it charges in my iHome. Numerous friends have suggested that I have my headphones implanted into my ears. Now, I enjoy various genres, although I mainly stick with alt rock, but I really can't deal with crappy pop, hip-hop, or rap. And I really don't like Disney soundtracks. Examples: High School Musical, Hannah Montana. No. Just... no.
Top Artists/Bands:
Red Hot Chili Peppers (Dosed, Hey, Funky Monks)
John Frusciante (Time Tonight, The Slaughter, Invisible Movement)
U2 (Acrobat, One Tree Hill, Bad)
Goo Goo Dolls (Bullet Proof, Truth is a Whisper, Long Way Down)
Counting Crows (Another Horsedreamer's Blues, Butterfly in Reverse, Round Here)
The Beatles (Real Love, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Fixing A Hole)
Dave Matthews Band (So Right, Ants Marching, Rapunzel)
Fleetwood Mac (Dreams, Second Hand News, Rhiannon)
Queen (These Are The Days of Our Lives, Don't Stop Me Now, Save Me)
Artists/Bands that I should own more of:
Regina Spektor, Coldplay, Death Cab For Cutie, REM, Five For Fighting, Elton John, The Wallflowers, Jack Johnson, Train, The Who, Talking Heads, Sarah McLachlan, The Police, Phish, Matchbox 20, KT Tunstall, James Taylor, The Killers, Keane, Nirvana, Bruce Springsteen, Foo Fighters, Dixie Chicks, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, The Doors, The Rolling Stones, The Clash, and lots more that I can't think of right now.

Reviews:
My Reviews: I've gotten some comments from people who consider my reviews to be rather harsh. I'd just like to clarify here that I'm not trying to be mean, I don't think I'm better than you, and just because I put in a lot of critique doesn't mean that I don't like your story. I'm a critical person by nature, and I'm a bit preoccupied with grammar and typos and spelling. By correcting someone's story, I'm trying to help. It's called constructive criticism, and it shows that I've really read your story, thought about it, and that I care about it. That's a good thing.
Other People Reviewing Me: I'm kind of a sucker for any reviews whatsoever. I love them beyond reason. Even if you're going to flame me, at least it provides some kind of entertainment, though I would appreciate you telling my why exactly you think my story sucks. And if you review me, I'll review your stories, unless of course you have 20 of them or something. Then I'll just review most of them. I just think that's a nice thing to do.
Stories:
Until the End of the World:
Doomsday-esque MR fic. The first couple of chapters, excluding the prologue of course, are rather happy and free of doom and despair. For the most part. But it gets depressing and distrubing and all that good stuff as the story progresses. I know the overall outcome for this one, but I'm still working out the details, so bear with me here... Currently at chapter 17. It's going to be long, people.
Colorblind:
Depressing drabble. Basically my attempt to write something profound in a songfic. I reread it recently and was very impressed with myself, not in an egostic way, in more of a wow-maybe-this-doesn't-suck way. So you should read it too. The end.
The Rift:
The idea for this just kind of popped into my head one afternoon and I had it done in about an hour. I would catagorize it as... doomed romance. And it's Max and Fang, of course. It does contain song lyrics, but the story itself can be read independently. I had to put the song in since it gave me the idea. And I'm actually very proud of this, but that's probably because I just wrote it. We'll see if I still like it tomorrow. UPDATE: I still like it!
Betrayal:
This story sort of came out of nowhere. I was just writing a little MR-themed nothingness while trying to find inspiration for Until the End of the World, and this is the result. It's Angel's POV during her little faked betrayal during MR3 (hence the title... creative, huh?). I'm might go a little more in depth about Jeb's motivations and about Ari's sudden character shift, which I don't feel was properly explained in the book. Not sure how long this is going to end up, currently at chapter 5.
Paint My Mind:
Companion to The Rift, just because I liked that one so much. It's more of a specific scene between Max and Fang that takes place before the events in The Rift. It's kind of hard for me to describe, actually. I don't like it as much as the original, but I still like it. I don't think it's as depressing...
Untitled:
Max II centric. Built around what happens to her directly after the events at the end of SOF. I've actually started writing this, but I'm not going to post it until I know it's good.
Quotes:
"Potbunnies!" -disneydork, attempting to say "plotbunnies," I believe.
"Wow, everyone looks so different with clothes on!" -a guy on my swim team. Don't take it out of context, people.
"(insert Mouse's real name here), you're school smart, and nothing else." -one of my lovely and sincere friends.
"And then we were just waiting in the forest, hiding from the poachers, and we knew we were going to die!" - on of my psychotic friends (what? I have a few...) describing a dream in which she was an elephant.
"Bubbles!"- me, whenever there's an awkward silence, or whenever I feel like it.
"But we don't have bipolar disorder!"- me, making a joke, although some people thought I was serious.
"Boing!"- me, whenever the car bounces up and down, which is a lot.
"Rarely is the question asked: is our children learning?"- the leader of the free world, people. Now that's just sad.

Therealme1123 and I came up with this lovely idea to protest low quality fanfiction. Our war cry is "blood and gore!" Tee hee.
If you'd like to join the protest against crappy, sappy romance fics in which little to no attention is paid to grammar/editing/etc., copy this into your profile and add your name to the list: anonymouse13, therealme1123, Wally-West-Go-Zoom, SilverScreech, Ride on silver wings, mergirl007, duudezilla, JoJoB576, Makmay04, Kyo-Fang, senoritasophia13, melissaeverlasting. Please PM your username to anonymouse13 or therealme1123 so we can add you to our lists.
To clarify: The purpose of the blood and gore movement is to protest low quality fanfiction in general. Common mistakes include lack of spellcheck, bad/no grammar, and overusage of overused clichés. And yes, I realize the last example was redundant. I have nothing against romance fics or faxness or anything else of the sort, but it remains a clear fact that most badly written fanfictions involve two characters making out. And they're all basically the same story, over and over again. Come on, you know it's true. If you have original, well written stories that include romance, then I have no problem with your writing whatsoever. Please don't get mad at me! Thanks!
11-20-07:
This interests me... Within two days of posting my fax oneshot, The Rift, 10 people have reviewed, and that's without my advocating it to other people. It took about a week to get 5 people to review Colorblind, my non-fax oneshot, and that's after I told people who read my other story about it. And Until the End of the World, which has 6 chapters, has only 39 reviews. So... I guess people are attracted to fax, above anything else. But I already knew that.
11-21-07:
I started a C2 community of underappreciated MR fics. To clarify: you should consider underappreciated as a compliment. It means that I think your fic is amazing and that it should be getting more attention than it is currently. So, check out the stories and don't forget to review, review, review! Also, if you have any recommendations, feel free to PM them to me!
12-2-07:
I have just made a poll about what influences you to read a fanfiction, based on the summary. Read above rant from 11-20-07 to see why.
12-17-07:
So it's been taking me a really long time to update lately... Sorry, to the few people who read my fics and actually care. I've kind of been thinking about writing a companion to The Rift, but I'm not really sure what it'd be about yet... Also got another possible story idea, but I think I'm going to focus on Until the End of the World for Now. For summaries, check the Stories section of my profile.
2-6-08:
I felt like I should add something since it's been over a month. I've been updating, though. So... Basically I scrapped one of my old ideas because it wasn't going anywhere, but I came up with a new one. Nothing else is new...
2-26-08:
I posted a new story today, called Betrayal, so check it out if you've got time. I also updated Until the End of the World, which is at 15 chapters so far. I'm so proud of myself. I had no idea I could stick to one storyline for so long!
2-28-08:
Wow! I am just cranking out the stories lately... I have a new oneshot up, called Paint My Mind. It sort of goes with The Rift. I'm not sure if I like it as much as The Rift, since it's more of a specific scene than a narrative, but... It's good. I'm happy with it.
3-15-08:
It's taking me longer to update lately, sorry about that. I'm having trouble motivating my self, because I keep getting attacked by plotbunnies (Potbunnies! Ha! Sorry... long story.) that make me want to write something new. So basically I have two new ideas for chaptered stories, and I like both of them a lot, but there's no way I could handle four chaptered stories at once, so I'm waiting to write/post them. I've actually written a little bit of one, because I like it a lot, but I'm not telling you what it's about... I'll probably start writing it this summer, when I'm not so busy.
3-20-08:
So... MR4... I didn't like it, just to let you know. I think I'm going to write a oneshot parody of it, which should be fun. The only thing I really liked was that nothing really changed, therefore none of my pre-MR4 stories are AU.
8-22-08:
Wow. It's been a while.
So I keep getting busy. Like, really, really, busy. And I'm going to be taking all these crazy classes this school year, which starts in about a week, so I don't think much is going to be happening on the fanfiction front. This makes me very sad, because I've had a pretty complex story idea in my head for about an eternity and it's still driving me insane, and I really want to write it, but... We'll see. Probably not.
