Author has written 3 stories for Star Trek: 2009, and Sherlock. A bit about me... Well, let's see, I've been here a while now, but I don't write/post much. If you're trying to get in touch with me, erm... you can try, but I'll be honest, I'm a hermit-y recluse. I've revitalized this account...three-- scratch that... four-- scratch that, five times. I really only write fanfiction when I'm particularly obsessed, and only when I feel I could add something to what's being said about the characters. Which is why my stuff is pretty character-centric. I enjoy writing about unusual characters and character relationships, because I feel it helps me improve my own writing. Fandoms you may see me write (Not the only things I'm obsessed with, but these are the highlights): Star Wars: There were dark years, but as far as I'm concerned, TFA has restored this franchise to its old glory. And I was pretty much raised on the orig trig. Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit: These movies (and books) have been a huge inspiration for me and have helped shape me into who I am today. And speaking of... Harry Potter: Obviously. Now, I don't generally write Potterfics, but I am a HUGE fan of these books. Movies less so, but i think the casting was all 100% spot on. Star Trek: Particularly the new movie. Don't go thinking me a heathen, now. I was raised on TOS goodness. Supernatural: Not as much anymore. Won't say I've completely kicked the habit. I'm a social SPN watcher. Doctor Who: Will always hold a special place in my heart, but I don't read or write it so much anymore. Sherlock (BBC): yes YES YES! All the yusses. Forever and always. Thing you will NOT see me write about: Twilight: No. Just no. I read the books. Every single one. It is a great shame upon my family name. Current Stories: The Kissing Disease: (complete) Slow-burning Spock/Uhura fluff from Spock's POV. If you like logic, you'll love this. It's 5 chapters epilogue. rated T for language and mild sexiness ;). Fact Versus Truth: (complete) Another Spock/Uhura from Spock's POV. The sequel to The Kissing Disease-- it can stand alone, but the first one is certainly recommended reading ;) The Perils of Insulting Mrs. Watson: or; The Adventure of the Empty House. (Complete- one-shot) Sherlock this time! My answer to all those dramatic "Sherlock returns to find John a shivering hollow wreck of a human being" stories. Like John Watson can't take care of himself. *Rolls eyes* Rated T for language. NEWS! I am now in possession of my very own bright and shiny AO3 account-- over there I'm girlbookwrm. |
