What I'm doing with my life: Working to pay the bills at a job I really do enjoy and going to school so I can chase my dream. I’m an office manager (a far more dangerous and exciting profession than for which people give it credit) for a security company and my job is great because of the people I work for and with. It’s a fantastic crew. Makes it easy to show up everyday;I’m also a screenwriting student. Well, technically I’m a film student but my program emphasizes screenwriting; Doing my best to juggle work, school and adult responsibilities (boy do I wish I'd done the traditional college thing in my late teens/early twenties). But I love my life and I love having all those balls in the air so I'm not sure I'd change a thing; Traveling whenever possible. What that all really means is: fanfic is a hobby. I love it but it's not my life. I'll try my best to update regularly when I have WIPs but please understand this isn't my day job. Hell, it's not even my night job. But it's great fun we can all have together. A few words about having a beta. I do. I have a couple depending on the fandom I'm writing for. They are wonderful, talented, brilliant ladies. But I am a hard-headed cuss. Though I name my betas in the fics I'm working on, please remember any mistakes that linger in my work when it hits your screen are mine and mine alone, and anything that doesn't sit right with you is probably something they warned me about but I chose to ignore. What I'm saying is: my betas are absolved of all sins. All the stuff that's wrong with it is me.
