Author has written 2 stories for Phantom of the Opera, and Pride and Prejudice. This is me!! (formerly Pearlmaidenredskyla) I love to read well-written, thought out stories and to write creatively. I am a homeschooled highschool student who has plently of friends and socialization. Just thought I had better make that clear:) I am currently obsessed with three things in the world of fiction: The Phantom of the Opera, Star Wars, and the Lord of the Rings. And--wait a minute...*Watches the movie "Thor" and reads the Hunger Games trilogy* Uhh...right...did I just say I was obsessed with only three fandoms? Yeah, make that five. Heh. In regards to POTO (I very much enjoyed both the book and 2004 movie), I completely and wholly ship Erik/Christine pairing. Raoul was clearly a mistake, a fluke. Just saying. The Giry women also hold a special place in my heart and I enjoy reading fics in which they are portrayed favorably and have a part in the plot. Stories with Erik/OC are, without a doubt, overdone on this website. Obviously. However, that's not to say that I completely disregard any author who writes such a story. My own story in this category, "Forget Me, Forget Me Not" was an idea that hit me very, very hard last summer. It's plot grew completely out of my own imagination and is great sense of accomplishment. When I get the time, I do plan on tweaking it a bit, and revising some things. :) Star Wars is definitely a fandom that I enjoy. The movies were simply epic. I ship Anakin/Padme as these two are my favorite characters. I also have a special place in my heart for Obi-Wan. He's so sweet. In the original trilogy, Darth Vader owns all. Forget Yoda, Luke, Han, or Chewbacca; Vader. Rules. Period. Ah, and then we come to the unspeakable triple epic-awesomeness that is *dramatic music* Lord. Of. The. Rings. The movies were one of the best trilogies of aall time, and the books were wonderful. My favorite character is Legolas Thranduilion, but he is closely followed by Aragorn, Elladan, Elrohir, Glorfindel, Erestor, Elrond, Sam, Pippin, Faramir, Boromir, Arwen, urm, a lot more...Let's just say I'm obsessed with this fandom. Thor. Was. Beast. Talk about amazing acting! Emotion! DRAMA! It was beautiful! And Thor wasn't even the best part! Now, now, hold your on to your axes and spears (oh my is that a hammer? o.O). Don't get me wrong; Mr. Hemsworth was a wonderful Thor. But--Mr. Hiddleston completely OWNED Loki! So, yes, I love Thor...but not as much as Loki. And come on, those horns are a pretty beastly style statement. :D And now we come to Suzanne Collin's masterpiece, "The Hunger Games". If you haven't yet already, go hunt down those books! Absolutely one of the best pieces of literature EVER. But don't take my word for it. Read 'em yourself. And just for the record, (I have a feeling some of you may end up chasing me with those axes and spears), I preferr Gale over Peeta. *winces* I know, I know! No need to curse! It's not that I dislike Peeta per se...I just like Gale more! And I think we can all agree that Finnick tops all! (except Gale) Ah! Wait! Don't murder me! I was just kidding! ;) My preferences are as follows: I am a romantic (I'm a girl what do you expect?), but not I am not in favor of intense love scenes. In my opinion, its not appropriate. No detailed scenes of intimacy. That's just...not what I'm into. I can understand very mild suggestive material between married couples, but even so, I personally preferr light romance. And Slash...that's not the way humans were made to interact. Plain and Simple. 'Nuff said. Fics with strong language is not something I enjoy either. Thus, you won't see any strong language, slash, or scenes of intimacy in my writing. And...I like angst. I've been bitten by the 'Let's Torture Our Favorite Characters!' bug. *winces* I'm treating the virus as best I can but so far it seems to be a failing effort. | |||||||
