Hello, and welcome to my profile. Please feel free to peruse my works and favorites.

I suppose if you're here, you may interested to learn a little bit about me. First, let me say I'm flattered. Now, where to begin...

I fancy myself a purveyor of smut. While I will read pairings of just about any persuasion, I write yaoi - NaruSasu and SasuNaru exclusively. I will read other pairings, and I've ventured into other works, but I always return to Naruto. It is is my comfort zone - it's where I started and where I will stay until the day comes that I write an original slash piece. And that day is coming soon.

I would not consider myself a fangirl, though I suppose I do have my moments. When I first encountered the world of fanfiction and the yaoi subculture I was giddy with the perversion of it - as I think most females probably are. I fetishized the male homosexual relationship - I admit, I am guilty. But then I grew, the novelty of it wore off and I began to explore the depths of the male/male relationship more honestly. Don't get me wrong, I'm still a fan of smut - the more explicit the better - but I started to appreciate the characters for their depth and the stories for their world building and enthralling narrative (that is, when I could find stories with these qualities). And that is when I discovered my own purpose in the world of fanfiction. I didn't want to simply churn out sleaze for the sake of it, I wanted to create something meaningful. Well... as meaningful as porn can be.

And so my stories of late have really been personal challenges, where I attempt to craft multifaceted characters that behave uniquely based upon the world I've created for them. You could say these characters are OOC and I wouldn't argue with you, but I believe they are true to the reality I have made for them, and that's good enough for me. My goal, more than anything else, is to captivate the reader with my storytelling. I'd like to believe that I have been successful in this endeavor, though it is up to my audience to tell me whether or not this is true.

Constructive criticism is my friend, sometimes we don't get along, but I know it's only there to make me better. And I am truly working to improve. I'm not here just to get my lady-rocks off (that is simply a happy coincidence), I'm really here to learn to tell a story that people want to read.
