Due to the more difficult methods of entering, posting and editing one's work on this platform, not to mention the censorship issues, the lack of even internal links, limits on formatting (no double spacing, etc., etc.), once my two remaining WIPs are finished, I won't be posting any new works on FF.net. I've moved over exclusively to AO3 - (I'm Besina over there as well.) If you'd like an invite, just drop me a line on Tumblr (besinaao3) or on AO3, and I"ll set you up (or you can sign up with them directly to get an invite as well - the turnaround is fairly short).

I used to write prodigiously, back in my high school and college days but have gotten rather rusty as the years have gone by. I find fanfic a great outlet and a wonderful inspiration to actually start writing again, and the support of the fanfic community is just overwhelming. :)

My obsessions include BBC's Sherlock and Harry Potter's Severus Snape (don't seem to care that much about the other HP characters, but Serverus is very multi-faceted and intrigues me.)

I write pretty much everything: romance, angst, fluff, friendship, mystery, adventure, humor, blatant PWP, meta-fic, and even some crack!fic, which I've found can be quite amusing both to read and write. Most of my things are short stories, standalone and series form; my longer stories tend to be sporadic in updates as the muse tends to flutter out and take vacations from me every so often, so I actually veer away from those, though I am getting better at them.

Within the BBC's Sherlock universe, I pursue both heterosexual friendship motifs as well as Sherlock/John slash. These tend to be rather light-hearted. The things I write for the HP universe will almost always be Snape-centered, rather dark, and more often than not contain quite a bit of sex.

I have quite a few fics posted, and several are in the works, ranging anywhere from plot bunny stage to nearly finished. (Most of these are on AO3)

As you can see, I'm slowly but surely making progress on getting pictures to go along with the fics -- if you have any recommendations of specific pieces (by artists who I can get permission from to use) or would like to submit your own art to go along with them, (regardless of whether I've got one for that story already or not -- I'd be happy to post others) then please drop me a PM -- I'd be tremendously pleased.
