Words are magic. They come out of nowhere, pieced together by sounds and random lines. But together they can create something as meaningful as a thought or a hope or a dream. Words allow you to connect with others and express yourself in ways emotions or even movements can't. When I write, I form magic out of nothing. That is why I write, and that is what makes me an author.

Hello, everyone! Welcome to my profile. My name is Reka Leaf (pronounced Rake-uhh). I am currently only writing one story (A Drop in the Ocean) since I abandoned my Merlin one...But that means I'm likely to update much more often. I will try to update at least once a week, but I sadly can make no promises on that...Anyway! Here is the summary, inspiration, and basics of what I have planned for ADitO:
Summary:A pirate and a mermaid, separated by a curse. Both think the other is dead, but when Captain Hook finds himself face-to-face with Ariel, true love will be tested, and the two will see how much they can really survive. Hook/OC. Other story lines present. Post-S.2x09. "It's just a drop in the ocean, a change in the weather. I was praying that you and me might end up together."
Inspiration:The inspiration for this story came from the song of the same name by Ron Pope. Though this is mainly a Hook/Ariel story, the song also fits many of the other ideas I have for this story and is a perfect fit, especially if you think about the whole pirate/mermaid/ocean thing...
Plans: This is not going to be a short story, not even close. I currently have everything planned out for it, and it will end up being nearly half a million words. There will be one hundred chapters as well as an epilogue, as long as I keep motivated. (Reviews, favorites, and followers really help with that, hint hint.)
