Author has written 30 stories for Lord of the Rings, Legend of Zelda, and Final Fantasy VII. Now, where to begin? Ah! Concerning hobbits... If you wanted to know a bit about me, you'd find a brown-haired, bespectacled English major in her early twenties hopelessly entangled in the magical world of fanfiction. (After almost seven years of active membership, I think I can qualify as an addict.) You also might find an aspiring author who eagerly absorbs tips and suggestions to polish and refine her skills. After all, there's always more to learn, and the amazing authors who grace us mere mortals with their presence on this site are more than welcome to offer advice. Current realms include: Lord of the Rings (Frodo, Frodo/Sam friendship focus) The Legend of Zelda (Link centered) Final Fantasy VII (Cloud, Vincent? and Vincent, not Cloud/Vincent slash, FYI). Potential realms may include Fire Emblem. My genres include everything except slash, and ratings up to T. You will not find language or promiscuity in my work, a trait which I intend to preserve. I am a firm believer in clean, quality writing, with adult situations unnecessary for the enjoyment of a good story. That being said, special requests are welcome, as is artwork and beta-reading. Enjoy! ~~Frodo Silverlune (FrodoII at councilofelrond.net, Aearannun at fictionpress.com and anywhere else) UPDATES: July 29, 2008: NEW REALM! Final Fantasy VII will soon be added to me 'worlds of fan-dom.' I'm working on a fic "Mako Eyes," which I hope to post soon. I'm very excited. June 20, 2008: I deleted "The Night of a Thousand Stars." Permanently. I've been increasingly agitated by the growing amount of slash on this site and have decided not to support it in any way, that includes writing stories that aren't slash as romance but do contain abuse. If you liked the story, thank you, but my conscience has finally gotten the better of me. Gotta take a stand in this area. There's pleanty of angst to be had without that kind. Cheers! January 5, 2008: NEW! 'The Master of Bag End' en Espanol!! The wonderful amazing Arwen-Aileon is translating 'The Master of Bag End' into Spanish! The story will be published through her profile. As soon as the link is up I will put it here on my bio page. July 9, 2007: FANART! Some wonderful, awsome, incredible readers have drawn fanart for me story 'The Fountain's Child,' sequal to 'Hero.' By Kichi, Check it out: http://www.paperdemon.com/artistsgallery.php/82.html For art by LinkSage http://linksage.deviantart.com/ November 4: I changed me name from FrodoBaggins87 to Frodo Silverlune. I'm still the same person, just with a different penname. If you want to IM me, my MSN messenger is starofamber15@msn.com
~"...and, best of all, to open my inward ear to a tale that was never ended- a tale my imagination created, and narrated continuously; quickened with all of incident, life, fire, feeling, that I desired and had not in my actual existence." - Charlotte Bronte: Jane Eyre, pg 111 ~"Parting is all we know of heaven, and all we need of hell." - Emily Dickinson ~"Those are the stories that matter, Mr. Frodo, the ones that really stick with you. Dark and sad and full of mystery they were, and sometimes you didn't want to hear the end because how can the ending be happy when so much bad happened? ...(but) there's some good in this world, Mr. Frodo, and it's worth fightin' for." - Samwise | |||||||
